This is one of my favorite roller coasters ever and can ride it countless times. What’s crazy is that right after the drop you will actually black out for a quick second because of the shift of Gforces. I remember reading the warning signs and being kind of scared but when you hit the drop everything starts to get shiny and stars appear and then a black tunnel comes out of nowhere and you feel lightheaded but it’s one of the best experiences ever.

That is correct. It is called a grey out. Not quite strong enough to be a full fledged blackout. I think that is the best part of the ride.

If just right, G-forces can simply make you see in black and white (something about the blood rushing away from the vessels in your eyes first) or even more, they can black out. Finally for some people, they will actually black out like lose conciseness for a minute. None of those things has ever happened to me and I've been on a lot of these insane coasters. It's weird, but it's kind of a goal I have to someday at least grey-out.

This is by far the most fast and intense coaster I've ever been on, it doesn't mess around. I love how fast the lift is going up, and the first turn after the drop is so intense that I almost always start to lose my vision. One of those coasters that really leaves an impact on you at the end.

Finally got to ride it today. My friend passed out after the hill and I almost did as well. All in all the most intense coaster I’ve ever experienced.

I rode it 2 years ago and distinctly remember blacking out. I wasn't unconscious, it wasn't tunnel vision, I could not SEE and I felt like I was fading away. I was scared, I had so many thoughts, mainly "oh my god shit" and "is it gonna come back??" it only lasted like 5 seconds maybe and it happened on the turn after the first drop. When I got off I was shaking uncontrollably too and my legs felt like Jell-O. The second and third time I rode, I didn't black out, but I got tunnel vision and felt like I might pass out but since I was expecting it I was able to fight it. 8/10 would fight passing out again

got to ride this in the pitch blackness of a 10pm park closing, and let me tell you, the 300 ft near vertical first drop into nothing but darkness is nothing but awesome. favorite roller coaster ever.

You would think for a gigacoaster that does 90mph, it'd have bigger hills but almost the entire track is blew the tree line of the surrounding forested area. It's also the ONLY roller coaster I've seen that has a turn directly underneath the first drop. Its one of the most uniquely designed roller coasters I've ever seen... and how its designed really shows just how masterful we've become at roller coaster design.

Riding this twice in one day,this past Halloween weekend,did it for me. My best friend was hyped about how fast it goes,but damn near changed her mind,when she saw the first drop. But,being her first time on a coaster in 13 years,she said it was the best roller coaster she's ever been on. Riding it twice made it worth the wait for her.

I could only imagine how insanely intense that first turn was when it opened.we are damn lucky to have this thing

This ride is intense! Just rode it and was blown away, don’t let it intimidate you if your feeling nervous! Actual ride time is a little over a minute, straight to the point and seriously intense!

I'm gonna ride it next time I go.... IM GONNA PROBABLY CRY.

It is just like riding a slower f-16 or f4. Sharp turns, going down and up, feeling the g force. That s why I love it.

I've been on both the Millennium Force and the Intimidator 305... The Intimidator is a better ride. You feel the first drop more and this ride pulls way more G's. I blacked out for a second or two on this ride, that didn't happen on the Millennium Force... Not saying it's a bad ride but Intimidator 305 > Millennium Force.

I love this ride. You have to ride at night! It doesn’t light up the way other coasters do, so you don’t know what’s going to happen until it’s too late

The first turn is so intense, arguably the most intense moment on a coaster, that it causes some riders to grey out, even black out because the blood is drained from your head so fast. That turn has to pack at least 5-6 Gs, trust me I've ridden it.

TheMightyRager I think you're confusing the term black out with legitimately going unconscious. I know somebody who legitimately blacked out on the first turn (CanadaCoasterFan) in which he lost all vision for a moment. I've only tunneled out.

One thing I have to say I noticed when I rode it. It has a absolutely amazing view, especially on a sunny day

It only takes 20 seconds for the front car to reach the top. That is insane!!! MF is only 5 feet taller and it takes about 31 seconds to reach the top of it.

I went to kings dominion on my way back from New York and have always been scared of roller coasters (my friends talked me into it) and I rode this and completely loved it! Totally a great first time roller coaster to just jump into it. I was in the second seat.

Yeah I’m sad that the volcano isn’t there anymore. I never had the chance to ride it. 😔 What I don’t understand is why the hell would they get rid of the Volcano, which was in perfect condition, but then they keep the Grizzly and the Rebel Yell, which are like the oldest rides there, and they’re held together with nails? 🤔 Explain that, Kings Dominion!

Based off of one of the best NASCAR drivers ever, Dale Earnhardt Sr. This totally shows how Dale was like and how he raced and gives you what’s it’s kind of like to be in the world of NASCAR.

If Maverick and Millennium Force had a baby...

Just rode this today and it was my first time going to kings dominion, this ride hits close to home with nitro at six flags, in fact the rides in general had a six flags vibe, love them both and loved this ride

For people that don’t know this coaster is a coaster named after Dale Earnhardt it is 3 mins and 33 secs long so that’s why they say start your engines

I made the mistake of riding this first thing at king's dominion. This damn thing wiped my energy for the whole day and almost made me black out.

Just rode this today. Sat in last row and completely blacked out, such an amazing ride. It's an extremely intense experience and makes pretty much any other coaster or thrill ride seem like a cake walk. I've been on a lot of intense coasters but this is the first one That's pushed me close to my limit. The adrenaline rush is just absolutely unbelievable and leaves you stunned for quite some time after the ride is over.

My first time riding this ride was April 24, 2015 and I was riding with my old teacher and nobody else from my group but us got on and the drop was scary, I'm not sure I blacked out because I closed my eyes the whole time. Very great ride though!

This coaster is one of my all time favorites. Super intense, amazingly paced, awesome cable lift, and some great airtime for a layout more focused on sharp laterals. The only things that I dislike are the trims on that airtime hill and the OTSR.

Pretty intense looking coaster! What's more intense is the 80+ comment argument underneath this video.

This ride made me gray out on the first turn both times I rode. Would recommend Made this comment without knowing this was a common occurrence. Makes a great night ride

lashkeith You are incorrect. Is isnt that bad for a 10 year old coaster. I aggre that it is rough but not often. And yes, they allow riders in the back car.

Just watching this and listening to that wind sent *CHILLS DOWN MY SPINE!* I am getting chills down my spine *JUST WATCHING THIS!*

I no joke went on this yesterday!!! Its in Richmond, VA. One of my favorite coasters!

As far as GIGA'S go this is the best one !!!!!!! MEAN AND BAD ASS !!!!! FURY is a great ride but a (( safe )) ride ...

Bouncy 305 is a better ride than any ride at cedar point . But cedar point is the best park lol

I go to Kings Dominion all the time and this is the only ride I was too afraid of. Today, after many years, I finally rode it! It was insanely scary, and I’m not going to ride it for another few years. lol

I blacked out at the bottom of the drop when I rode this

I love this video so much. Going to King's dominion this weekend for the first time.

I rode this yesterday, front seat and hands up in the air all the way down!

When I went on this I didn’t blackout but my vision was narrowed to tunnel vision

I think of I305 as Maverick on fucking speed and steroids

I really NEED to get on this coaster!! I have a huge love for NASCAR and a love for rollercoasters just as big!

This ride was so fun when I went, I’m going on Thursday so I’m hella excited 😁😁
