Saaaaame! Usually I don’t. I just read where I remember I was up to. I half the time I don’t remember what happened when I read it the first time, and I’m just confused ah what’s going on.
That awkward moment when your camera doesn't know who the star of the video is so it just focuses on the bookshelves.
You have really pretty eyes

jessethereader me too, I have a giant TBR pile that keeps growing
I have such an intimidating TBR it is unbelievable. My Goodreads goal is 75 books this year, but sometimes I don't even read one book A Week. if only we had all the time in the world to read our books....
I really enjoy your videos, for some reason they make me forget about all that stress und awful stuff going which I really appreciate, so I guess thank you for constantly lifting my mood!
DOES THIS MEAN THAT YOU'VE FINISHED LADY MIDNIGHT?! You deserve a freaking medal Jesse for the amount of Cassandra Clare books that you've read this past month 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I didn't expect the "Smooth Criminal" thing to happen and I just laughed out loud. In the middle of the night. My mum must think that I have finally gone mad now xD

Merle Twinny omg. TWINSIES!!!!! It was like 2 in the morning, started laughing, woke up dog.
A Thousand Pieces of You is completely fantastic! I walked in blind and while the beginning is a little bit rough, the rest is so spectacular.
Hahaha that random little "shmooth criminal" moment totally got me! :D
Vanishing Girls is AMAZING!!!!!! Full of mystery, love, and rebellion!!!! AND GIANT PLOT TWISTS!!!!!!!!!! I PROMISE IT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your eyes look a little violet in this video !
Ahh thanks for tagging me!! ☺️ I actually really enjoyed A Thousand Pieces of You, I have a review on it! I think you'll really like it too!

+BooksAndBigHair of course! & that makes me feel a lot better about it!
I was hoping The Name of the Wind would be on here because it can be intimidating but is so unbelievably worth it.
a thousand pieces of you was the first book i read in english and it was PERFECT. just read it and see for yourself. I personally love it.
Thank you so much Jesse, thanks to you I've been reading much more!! Greetings from Mexico
A Thousand Pieces of You is really good if you go into it knowing there is a heavy romance. The worlds are super interesting, but this is a romance heavy trilogy. It got mixed reviews because people who don't enjoy romance read it and didn't like it, but I personally loved it. The second book is even better!

Yeah I agree. I can't wait for book three!
This is a really interesting tag! I haven't seen this one before. But I feel you on most of these books and reasons. Most of them are exactly the same as my self. (I might do this tag now)
I loved A Thousand Pieces Of You!! You should definitely read it.

Uuuuhhhh it was so great
Wink Poppy Midnight has such a gorgeous cover that I just had to Google the book (this is the first time I heard about it) and now that I've read what it's about, I added it to my To Buy list. Thank you so much for helping me find a book with so much potential; it's exactly what I'm in a mood for! PS: Did I mention the cover is GORGEOUS? I did? Oh, well, I'm saying it again. It's gorgeous and I love it!
Nah Jesse you weren't being overly critical, you were right on point Wonder how The Last Star will turn out next month tho

Dux Votch I read the 5th wave and infinite sea, but not the last star.... Is it worth it?!
Your bloops are everything!
The cover of Wink Poppy Midnight makes me swoon. Soooo gorgeous.
I FEEL WITH YOU WITH THE INFINITE SEA
Thanks for everything you do Jesse. Since bookstores are closing down I look to you!
A Thousand Pieces of Yous is AMAZING! You must read it.
I'm so intimidated by The Great Gatsby even though it's like 140 pages long... It's my dad's favourite and he's pressuring me to read it already. The language is so complex and I'm so intimidated even though it's probably amazing....
your bookshelves are honestly goals.
The Mistborn books!!! Yes!!! I read them last year. They're so great!
I love A Thousand Pieces of You and its sequel! The premise and world are so unique and interesting. They aren't the most amazing thing I've ever read but they are so fast paced and fun. I'd definitely recommend!! :)

I totally agree I'd give it a 4/5 content and a 10000/5 cover art
I REALLY WANNA READ "THIS IS WHERE IT ENDS" and "PANIC" BECAUSE THEY BOTH LOOK INCREDIBLE
Love the smooth criminal thing lol
Love this video!!
The characters are also beautifully created!
I'm intimidated by Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I know what's going to happen and I just don't want to exprerience it :'( + the siiiiize :D :D

A LITTLE LIFE! I love it. Too much. Too too much.
love your videos
A THOUSAND PIECES OF YOU IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AMAZING!!!! YOU NEED TO READ IT LIKE ASAP!!!!!
love ur videos
The Silkworm!!! Just amazing!!!
I have a whole lot of classics on my shelf. It is not that I don't want to read or I don't like them but most of the stories are too slow. I like action packed stories that move fast. So yep, I am intimidated my classics tbr!
REBEL SPRING YESSSSS IT'S AMAZING
Have fin trying to read all of these! Good luck!!
Vanishing Girls is absolutely fantastic! It will keep you guessing until the very end. You have to read it!!! Delirium didn't really pull me in so I didn't finish it, but the summary of vanishing girls intrigued me so I read it, and it was FANTASTIC.
Your bloopers are perfection XD
You need to read a thousand pieces of you!!! I loved it an its sequel! so good!
a thousand pieces of you (yes amazing cover) but even more amazing book!!!! it's so quick to read and it picks up straight away. i loved it heapssss i can't believe their are mixed reviews whattt?
I absolutely love ya Jesse, you're such a cute quirky goofy human! When I see your videos in my notifications I immediately watch :)
I feel you on Infinite Sea. I read it and I didn't enjoy it as much as the 5th wave, but the end blew my mind and it made me so excited for book 3!

+Amanda Margaret AND I NEED TO READ IT SOON.
I really recommend A thousand pieces of you, cause the second book in the series is sooooo freaking good!! and the first is a nice build up, but seriously the world is just so amazing! :)
My gosh that was so cool at the end when in both the suggested videos you were exactly in sync with yourself XD
I never read reviews and that is why. But I love your videos!
City of Heavenly Fire is my most intimidating book. I don't want The Mortal Instruments series to end, but at the same time I want to finally finish the series.
Career of Evil is my biggest book right now. A thousand Pieces of you is wonderful!!
A Thousand Pieces of You is amazing,I don't understand why some people don't like it.The same situation with The Infinite Sea,I actually really loved it.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the diviners!! So much!!! Please make time to read, it'll be worth it!
The Mistborn books definitely intimidate me too. I read the first one in January (which I loved) but I haven't continued the series yet. I definitely plan on doing it in the summer though so I can focus all my attention on it! :)

+sandyreadsalot I tried reading it, but I put it down because the writing just felt a bit off for me, like it didnt really suck me in and I had a problem imaging the setting and characters and I didn't even make it to Chapter 2! :S

You have to be patient with it. It definitely does get better in my opinion after several more chapters. :)
I love your videos especially the beginning when you woosh in (is that even a word lol) xx
For A Thousand Pieces, I DID NOT notice the second city in the pinkish part of the cover! Just OH. MY. GOD! That is very beautiful! And I have a lot of books that are sequels and yet I STILL NEED to read the first book for! I know, I am so bad at that! Hahaha! Hopefully I will read them soon!
Vanishing Girls is soooooo good
Lord of The Rings....a part of my soul but so intimidating.
If you struggle getting into The Diviners, I highly highly recommend the audiobook. It's one of the best audiobooks I've listened to (and I've listened to hundreds), the narrator does such a good job creating a vivid atmosphere. It's also so much creepier listening to it, I'll be honest I got really paranoid when listening to it before bed at some points.
JESSE A THOUSAND PIECES OF YOU WAS REALLY AWESOME!!!!
Wink poppy midnight was a total cover buy for me. Didn't even know what it was about but it was such a quick read and I loved it!! Definitely one of those books you could knock out in one sitting.
I have the same thing with The Diviners. I've been so in the mood to read it all the time lately.
city of heavenly fire
A Thousand pieces of u is AMAZING
A thousand pieces of you is a brilliant read
I've been reading The Hero of Ages for about two weeks now and I read the first two in a week. It pains me soo much because it isn't as if the story got worse, boring or anything, I've just been sooo held back by school and it sucks because holy moly, it might be the greatest fantasy I've ever read. Damn you homework!
I LOVED a thousand pieces of you, I think it was kind of like red queen (just mixed reviews wise) but I remember you liked Red Queen I'm pretty sure. Anyway I found all the different locations in the book so cool, they were a really interesting way to change up the plot often
I loved A Thousand Pieces of You! Definitely give it a shot!
That a thousand pieces of you cover. Almost bought it so many time just because of the cover!!
I love the mistborn series! defiantly worth the read:)
Definitely read Vanishing Girls! It's really good!
i was most intimidated by gone with the wind because it was almost a thousand pages and i had bought a beautiful copy from year it was written....so i put it on the shelf and got the audible version and it was fantastic
I was completely oblivious to A Thousand Pieces of You having mixed reviews when I read it. It's been a while, but I remember just absolutely loving it. Give it a go, soon! It was a super fast read and got me out of a slump last year!
Stephen Kings "it" soooo freaking long. I got halfway through a couple of years ago, but having to re-read that first half.... Oh boy!
READ THE DIVINERS OML
I also have The Silkworm (because it was super cheap at a thrift store) but can't read it yet because I still need to read The Cuckoo's Calling.
A Thousand Pieces of You was amazing, I absolutely loved it! I picked it up because of the cover and the science, parallel world plot line but I was hesitant as I'd only ever read one Claudia Gray novel (Evernight) and I hated it. I was pleasantly surprised that I LOVED A Thousand Pieces of You though. It's awesome.
I also bought "a thousand pieces of you" because of the cover. But i actually love it, i think the is story is so unique. I think you would enjoy it.
Wink poppy midnight is fannntastic
I definitely feel ya on the rest of the Mistborn trilogy. Someday!
I just got me being me is exactly as insane as you being you and it's great p.s vanishing girls is also amazing it's in my favorite book section it's great to read them
I love the A Thousand Pieces of You book-loved loved loved it-it would make a great movie I think.
This tag looks so fun. There are so many books on my shelves that I still need to read. I even put it on my to-do list that I need to make a TBR jar so I can pick out book titles that I need to get to. Sometimes I wish I had a KZread channel so I could do tags like this, haha. Too bad my computer is too slow and uploading videos would probably crash it.
City of Heavenly Fire scared me so much but I started it when Lady Midnight released - I finished it in 3 days. I would like to thank your Goodreads status updates because that made me want to read it so much more.
Oooooh this shall be a FUN tag! Time to go and search through all of my books! Thanks for tagging me, Jesse! See you soon! 😄
Mistborn is amazing it is worth finishing.
I recently finished A Thousand Pieces of You and it was a beautiful book! I think that the reviews are so mixed because no one really knows where to place it as far as genre. It was really cool as far as the science side of it goes and the general story matches the cover beautifully!
Rebel Spring is so good it's worth re reading the first 200 pages! The series keeps getting better and better!

+Marte Trollsås They're so worth it though! The scope of the books and Tolkien's writing style are both amazing! Definitely take the time for those.
As a library reader instead of a buying reader, my view of TBRs is quite different. If I have books that are "intimidating" for any reason, great! It helps narrow my focus, and my TBR is still sufficiently large for my taste. If I ever get it down to 0, there are always rereads or comic reads waiting for me. My most intimidating book waiting to be read is Chronicles of Amber by Roger Zelazny. This is due to its length, as it is 10 novels in one volume.
You must read a thousand pieces of you. It is amazing and beautiful.
I loved A Thousand Pieces of You! It's good! :)
I felt the same about the infinite sea.
A THOUSAND PIECES OF YOU IS SO GOOD. Well maybe not all caps good, but I thought it was a pretty good book. Although it is slightly hard to get into, it's completely worth it when you read the whole thing.
Percy Jackson is amazing! Childhood memories...!
