Skizz is often drawn with angelic features for a few reasons, one of the main reasons is that he's like a counterpart to Impulse who is often drawn with some demonic features because he was once summoned with Redstone.

Personally I headcanonned Skizz as an angel because of his positive affirmations back in Limited Life (which was my first exposure to the guy) What can I say he made an impression on me

I dunno...I seem to remember Torchy making some questionable suggestions like "drop an anvil on someone who came to use the Heart Foundation's anvil".

Skizz is drawn as an angle for multiple reasons: one might be because of Cleo's, Etho's and his task where he was the angel on Cleo's shoulder. Another is because he's Impulses counterpart, who's often drawn as a demon. And another one is because the fandom says so lmao

@@rudrodeepchatterjeepartly because his name gets shortened to Impy a lot (usually by Tango), and partly because he wound up on Hermitcraft from Tango, X, and Mumbo preforming a summoning ritual while building a quad-witch farm in Season 3.

Technically he was on the server earlier that season than when he actually joined (Mumbo was building his Iron Foundry farm, had technical difficulties with it, and Tango got temporarily whitelisted to help troubleshoot). The ‘summoning ritual’ episode is Tango’s season 3, episode 18 (and Impulse’s POV is his very first Hermitcraft video, lol)

Justice for Scott. He got the task right like 3 times, the yellow names were the problem.

Torchy was killed so badly, they did not get a second or third life but was out of the series. Brutal.

It's funny how Martyn just totally ignored the animator's dig at him in the RIP Torchy screen with Tango crying on the chair, and it's a pretty funny jab too.

The more you acknowledge an imaginary friend, the more powerful they get. However, if you dismiss an imaginary friend as a bogus idea or a "figment" of your imagination then they cease to exist. Exactly like BingBong in Inside-Out.

i appreciate the way you pause to talk about art styles and the techniques that go into them, it's a huge draw for me to keep watching your reaction videos. as a visual artist myself irl i love hearing what you like and what you notice, such as comparisons or themes that stand out or more granular discussions of framing/timing/movement. it's really engaging and heartening to see you (a creator whose creativity we clearly all adore :D) have such an appreciation for the behind-the-scenes (so to speak) of fan art and fan animations. cheers ^_^

Skizz has a halo since later on in Secret Life he and Etho are the "Angel and Devil" on Cleo's shoulders for a task. It also fits with him always partnering with Tango whose skin is frequently depicted as devilish.

Skizz was already often depicted with angel features before this task but it was particularly fitting in that situation lol

2:19 Impulse and Skizz are often drawn by fans of them with Demon and Angel features respectively. For several reasons, but it’s just a thing that has gone on for ages. I even read a fanfic where Impulse used his horns as a weapon in a fight. It’s also why if either of them ever win their celestial body will unequivocally be Pluto and Jupiter respectively.

Ahahaha what an amazing animation! It's so good. I really enjoy watching you watch these because you point out things I obviously see but don't really notice, y'know? By the way, Martyn, don't feel bad! You didn't unalive Torchy; he simply went away but Etho found him and adopted him. ;) Here's an out of context clip: kzread.infoUgkx40rvXCAIE4LNUTFsW6HJlkNDf8t-oCrr The reason why Tango laughs so loud btw is because this subject (sufficient light in the lobby) was an on going issue for the other hermits. Any time they've would add a torch here or there to improve the video for their recording, the torches would immediately get snatched and thrown away by Tango. He perfected everything about the dungeon, including the lobby light levels. He wanted it dark enough to be moody but light enough to not spawn mobs. It might have been the first phase of DO2 when Tango announces the points/winner of the phase where Etho and Bdubs and a couple of others were making comments about how dark it was in there and they'd place a torch in front of themselves. Bdubs takes it upon himself to make sure that Etho has good lighting for his videos. He's very considerate like that because it's always been a thing Etho's insisted on from the beginning. Anyway, while teasing Tango/complaining about the light levels during the second phase results, Joe happens to have brought night vision potions and he gives one to Etho and subsequently brings one just for him each phase results. It's not just an Etho thing though, all the hermits got into it to bug Tango about it. xD But Etho's timing of this joke came right after that session of SL.
