Always keep your pool clean with chlorine and watch your PH value. After signe oxygen supply should help you to use less chemicals in your pool. However, this is not documented. But if nothing else, it makes the water very soft and comfortable.

Sir, the small black plug is not for that return hole. It is to put over the air inlet for stopping aeration when you want it to act as a normal jet. The 2 big plugs you have that come with the pool are the correct ones for return and inlet and they go under that big cap that screws of. Hope this helped somebody just like your video, and sorry for my poor english btw

Thanks for your comment, you write an excellent and understandable English. I was not aware that the plug could also be used to stop air supply. When I received the kit, the plug was in the outlet nozzle. I show this method, rather than using the black plugs that come with the pool. I thought the plugs easily fall out. Thank you for your help and comment.

So does the little black plug stay on while the pump is running(for the air not to plug the water)

The black plug goes over the air valve sticking up on the adapter. That's how you "open/close" the airflow.

Tak Morten, was scratching my head about how to fit this, got it fitted now. I don't have all those air bubbles coming out of mine though, do I need to do something else to get those coming through? I just have the jet, no difference than without fitting the air adapter.

duffymoony Try opening the air valve a little bit more to allow more air to come in. The whole concept of the outer peace is so that way that additional top screw which is what gives air

If they are 32mm and it is an Intex Pool, the set fits as shown. My sand filter pump had a capacity of 10,500 liters per hour.

Why did you need a new one? How long before it goes bad?

la valvula que va hacia arriba (la pieza cilindrica que enrrosco ala pieza grande) es la que provee de aire ala piscina. ahora si te referis al tapon negro, es solo para no regar agua al retirar la manguera y conectar el aereador. Saludos de Nicaragua!!!

Hello, at this moment in Argentina it is summer and luckily I found your video explaining exactly what I needed, thank you very much.But ......... I have a problem, I have an element of one body, let's say a "mouthpiece" for giving it a name. Obviously it is not of the upper connection that you just showed. Therefore I ask you a favor, if you can show how the parts of the lower connection are mounted, since I have left over this "mouthpiece". Showing how the lower connection elements are connected is sufficient, since this "nozzle" does not fit anywhere. Thank you.

Hi and thanks for your question. The set here fits Intex filter pumps with 32 mm hose connection. I have used the set together with a Sandfilter pump with a capacity of 15,000 liters per. hour. @@Knights4ever83 I’m in the same boat trying to make this work with a different sort of pool. I think the black part is part of the pool wall itself. Would be helpful to find something to make the pieces fit snugly in the side of a pool not made by intex/without holes pre-made.

Do you know if the screens are supposed to suck in the water with pressure, my pump works but both the screens feel like they aren’t sucking any water in??

if u take out the 'screens' and put ur finger in the whole u will fill it is sucking...if u have a small pool , 8 ft, try just one 'screen' and close the other one. I'm guessing with screen you mean the suction holes? thanks

Always make sure and keep the filter clean of dirt. Stopped filter slows down pump speed.

You do not need a gasket between the two pieces, but a plastic clamp that comes with the Air Adapter set. Plus clamps where you connect the water hose.

I´m sorry, what is the function of the adapter? What is it for? I bought a new pump and in the instructions this adapter is like an optional, I don´t now if i should try it or not. Thanks!

You can add more oxygen to your pool with this adapter. On 38 mm intex bats and connection, they are today standard. Gives a more comfortable and soft water jet at your exit to the pool.

I have the same pool i have all the stuff that you showed on the video but the jet or whatever the name is doesn't go all the way i push hard enough but the part that goes inside the pool is not flush i guess the part that goes inside its too long..

Which pump do you use? It requires a water pressure from the pump for the adapter to work.

Good video, but theres no need for you to put that clamp on the outside of the air adapter, its hard plastic is not helping on anything there, other than that, good info.

I've got exact same pool. I thought the inlet strainer that you pulled out from inside pool is glued or stuck to pool❓I'm concerned it will rip a big hole if I pull it out❓Mine seems to be molded to pool, however I may be wrong.

This is an Intex original part. Nothing is glued. The adapter is held in place with the supplied plastic straps, as shown in the video.

@@MortenWork Ok finally got my pool packed away for winter. I was able to just pull out strainers and replace with new system easily. I did find out that black plug is only used to stop the water flow during assembly. Other then that you don't need it. Thanks for great video

Many pumps become weak over time. Clogging of filter and hose .... the possibilities are many. I even use Sand filter as it is the best in my opinion. Paper filter pumps stop quickly and require almost daily cleaning during hot periods when the pool is used a lot.

@@MortenWork thank you for that information! :) Actually I figure it out! If you overfill the pool even just a little bit over "the line", it seems there is too much water pressure for the bubbles to generate.

WTH is the additional white piece that is named air intake that seems to have no purpose? Can I send you a pic because intex doesn't seem to ever answer the phone. 🙄

You add more oxygen to the water and, according to the manufacturer's instructions, save on chemicals. A bit the same if you use oxygen tabs in your pool.

Just bought the Intex 10 X 30” pool with filter. Filter runs but does not pump into the pool. When running no water in the pump, shut it off and it fills with water and comes out the air valve when opened. Any ideas?

Hello the pump is marked with a plus and a minus! Plus is water into the pump. Minus is water out of the pump. At minus you mount the Intex Air Adapter, so bubbles will come in the water.

Morten Work it worked for about an hour. We shut it off while in the pool then tuned it back on. Pump runs but when you turn air valve no water comes out. Shut the pump off turn the air valve and water is in it. You can see water trying to move to the outlet when it is turned on but nothing happening. We have unhooked all the hoses changed the filter and same thing. Faulty pump?

Should we use this all the time?

Difficult to answer why it doesn't work. The valve may be blocked or your pump is not powerful enough
