Max is basically teaching Lando to be as annoyingly honest to the press as he is, so they can't use anything against him. Max saw how they bamboozled Lewis on multiple occasions before. Putting words in his mouth that Max won't fall for.

They are using the same engines but the cars are 50kg heavier, they are longer and wider as well oc they are gonna be slower, this has nothing to do with the tyres

Lando should have said "No, I pushed flat out every lap"

Redbull have an exceptionally better setup then the other teams. It would not be surprising that max hasn't gone full out on most races. He has had most races this year with pretty large gaps to 2nd. He could go allnout and pit 1 more time, and still win. It's insane how much better thier cars are.

Whats worse is they being experimenting with qualifying to save tyres. Durable tyres also saves tyres..... but they want it to be "exciting" with multiple pit stops as mandated by f1 owners. @@kalakukko6979

It is an art to be as fast as possible while nursing the tires as much as possible. And max is the best at it. But F1 should be about flat out on the limit of grip not the limit of tire cheese melting

Started with the tires on my stroller when I was born

I started managing the tyres during birth!

Managing tyres these days is crucial, which is sad in a way that racing comes at a cost.

I have to say the questions premise is not thought through well. This race had high tyre deg and as such, a lot of managing tyres, but even if it had lower amount of managing, it wouldnt be that you start flat out and then start managing tyres later. That way you lose perfomance in the tyre for long part of the stint and the managing later is superflous, because you are going to pit soon anyway. Instead you manage early in the stint, cause there is a lot of laps to come, where the tyre needs to be performing. And then if wear is good and you have a margin ( which wasnt so much the case here), you reduce the management towards the endof the stint , because with fewer laps to go on the stint, further tyre deg is less of a concern, culminating in „hammertime“ in the end. So actually, there is rarely a point where you „start managing the tyres“, if anything, maybe there is a point, where you would „stop managing the tyres“
