Interview with William Kaelin, Nobel Prize laureate in Physiology or Medicine
William Kaelin, Nobel Prize laureate in physiology or medicine, shared his insights into life in science. He answered questions from students and scientists at the Institute for Global Health, Barcelona, and online from a global audience. The conversation explored his personal choices and experiences, as well as his advice for early-career scientists.
This event was part of the Nobel Prize Inspiration Initiative (NPII), a global programme designed to help Nobel Laureates share their inspirational stories and insights. By taking Nobel Laureates on visits to universities and research centres around the world, and by capturing their thoughts on video, the Initiative seeks to bring the Laureates into closer contact with the worldwide scientific community, and especially with an audience of young scientists. NPII Spain was delivered in partnership with the AstraZeneca Foundation. For more information please visit: www.nobelprize.org/npii

Congratulations, Professor, and to all to the science .
Knowledge is the most important, translation or application cannot work without it, and we do not have enough knowledge. The priority must be to acquire knowledge and understanding, everything else follows automatically.
