I honestly think they might have blown all the money because it was said by the banker that a withdrawal hadn’t been made from Lestat’s account since the year of the incident.

@@cahvartv They were so wealthy though. Even without Lestat's money Louis was independently rich from the brothels. And he became even wealthier after Lestat bought the Fairplay for him. By his own words he said that after paying Lestat back he still made enough money to live like a Pharaoh for the rest of his life. And the crash of wall street didn't seem to affect them. So it's just weird to me that a mere four yrs later they're having to resort to pickpocketing. But thank you for responding . I'm a new sub and I like your reactions.

I always assumed they didn't make withdrawals because they didn't want anyone to trace their movements through Europe. But it is definitely not book accurate as they had money during their time in Europe in the books. But now in hindsight I'm wondering if the writers were trying to highlight just how unreliable Louis is as a narrator.

I love the way Delaney plays Claudia. I was nervous at first about the recast, but she has blown me away. Louis needs to stand up. He gotta leave Lestat dead ass in the past.
