    Agreed so underrated. Too bad it bombed at the box office due to financial issues and Robin's argument with Disney and the marketing.

    Agreed. Bicentennial Man is definitely one of Robin's best performances. So sad that he's gone now :( The world lost a fair bit of brightness the day he passed away.

    He had the ability to make everyone laugh and make the simplest thing funny. I am so sorry he was depressed and later had Body Lewy dementia, it pains me so that he felt he had to take his own life. He was a wonderful, talented, beautiful (inside and out), lovely, kind (he used to call Steven Spielberg during the time he filmed Schindler's List, just to cheer him up) person! I wish he knew what a legacy and absolute art he left behind in his movies and interviews. Hope you rest in peace and know that you were loved all around the world, Robin Williams ! this interview is really nice

    Robin had Lewy Body, which is a dementia that is as much Alzheimer's as it is Parkinson's in symptom. I took care of my mother-in-law from diagnosis to hospice. He handled his illness with humor and grace, much as he did in this and all of the other roles he surpassed in his career. He will always be a gift to be cherished and relived through his performances...

  • @xaenon

    @xaenon

    4 жыл бұрын

    For the most part, the ten commandments are a load of shit. At least four of them can be summarily dismissed as superstitious nonsense, three more are badly worded, and the remaining three - thou shalt not kill, steal, lie - would resolve probably 90 percent of the world's problems - INCLUDING the elimination of religion and politics altogether, and probably putting a big ol' crimp in what passes today for commerce.

  • @MaximilianonMars

    @MaximilianonMars

    The law of God is perfect, but people aren't. The commandments are a teacher, to prove that nobody can be perfect. One sin is enough to damn someone to Hell, nothing cleanses you from sin except the blood of Christ. To get to heaven you must accept the free gift of salvation paid for by Christ alone. I have one video explaining how from a trustworthy pastor. I would say more, but many words are forbidden.

    My God,what must it had been like to be a close friend of the late great Robin Williams,a peak behind the curtain, as it were? He seems like he was all ways on, or maybe that was just a part of his genius, to give the people what they want. I understand that the reason he took his life was because he had got sick. With an undiagnosed illness and he didn't understand what was happening to him....well,we laugh a lot less these days, Robin my man, you're sorely missed.RIP 😇

    Best ... Movie ... Ever! While I very much enjoy Isaac Asimov (I have read all of his science fiction and a great deal of his non-fiction) it was the love story that really put this movie over the top for me. Embeth Davidtz was just perfect and wonderful and beautiful as Portia (and Little Miss). Robin Williams, as Andrew Martin, totally plays Portia and when they kiss in the cathedral, I lose it. "I lied." OMGoodness, I can hardly type the words. It's all anticlimactic from there but a beautiful, sweet ending. Goodnight, Galitea (a wonderful supporting role).

    It must have been an engineer who designed the human body. Who else would put a waste processing plant next to a recreation area? A woman goes into a doctor's office, and the doctor says "Do you mind if I numb your breasts?" "Not at all." * "Num-num-num-num." One did it sir! Andrew, it was fine, but we might want to talk about appropriatness and um, and timing. It's ten-fifteen sir. lmao ..i love it

    I think people expected Robin to be like his standup and Mork characters.. Instead what they got was a nuanced, melancholy and very restrained Robin.. which they should have expected if the movie had been promoted correctly.. instead of all the trailers being the joke telling and animated facial expressions implying a comedy. It is a brilliant performance worthy of the highest accolades.. but as Robin said occasionally.. “people really seem to only want the funny Robin, and I am finding it harder to deliver”.
