I am a Sunni, unfortunately all major Sunni nations have already sold out to America like Saudi, UAE, Qatar I support Iran whole heartedly. I hope there is good alliances with Russia, China, Pakistan, Iran, Venezuela this will help to strengthen them as nations that can't be overthrown

What a pleasure to hear professor Marandi speak about the western concocted Sunni Shia rift that is used by many westerns to divide and conquer the region of the Middle East.

Well said. For a long time now, I have been encouraging people in the West to read a book by Mark Curtis - 'Secret Affairs'. It's an expose work, which covered the history of the West's cynical use of so called 'Radical Islamists' (and the harder it may become for Western media outlets to spout their nonsense!)

Professor Marandi needs to make more of these interviews to reach out to western minds and hearts because the mainstream media here decides who and what we can hear. It's important that other voices are heard particularly the voice of Iran especially in these dangerous times that we live in

Well, don't be fooled by his title and his eloquence. The stuff he says about the West may be true but most of the things he usually says about the Iranian people and their relation to the Iranian regime are blatant lies. In other words, he is a sellout. He serves the regime. Not the people.

TonyBanderas correct. This applies to all Iranian politicians or those who speak on behalf of the Islamic republic. I mean I get tremendous enjoyment from hearing Khamenei’s sane commentary on US imperialism, but his domestic talk is a joke. Same goes with most countries who have been imperialized by the US. What’s funny is this doesn’t apply to US politicians for obvious reasons. Both their foreign and domestic talk is less than garbage lol

Thank you for this very interesting interview. Dr. Marandi's eloquence and simple explanations and helped to further clarify this seemingly complicated crisis in the Middle East. As the Michael previously suggested I, too think it is imperative for Dr. Marandi and like to conduct more interviews in order to provide a more realistic and balanced view for the current conflicts.

This interview was done in 2018 and I'm watching this in Aug 2021 for the first time when America left Afghanistan and let the country get taken over by the Taliban extremist group. Does this mean the plan for destabilization of central Asia has started? It's like watching chess, innocent people are pawns, and I'm looking forward to seeing what china and Russia, and Iran are going to do next. and the game is continuing, and people are suffering, and rich are getting richer

DIALECTIC A tower on the corner Where two walls have to meet A rise to something higher Upon a common street I hope that's where we're heading In our survival hope A meeting to rise higher Is our means to cope A tower is a symbol That we can never meet A place to light a fire At one end of two streets This is the dialectic Today if you'd inspect it

If it was ONLY about apartheid why did Iran drive out the people of Jewish faith from Iran and take their property? I agree with much of What Mohammad says in general and believe that Mohammad has a very good grasp and insight into what is going on and think people should pay heed to what he says as western media often does poor job.

I am very sorry for who ever told you that lies they really damaged your intelligence and you allowed it, Jews in Iran are living happily in Iran they even denied logistics from Israel to bring them back to the Chosen state of occupation, they love Iran and I don't think they will leave anytime soon

there are some 30 synagogues here in Iran, they are all open. in anywhere in the world synagogues are protected by security guards with metal scanners at the entrance. in Iran there simply is no security guard and the door of the synagogues are always open. simply because Iran is probably the least anti Semitic country in the world. Iranian Jews have been living in Iran for some 2500 years. some of them took their lives for for our country in the Iran-Iraq war in 1980s.

do you even know how many jews live in iran today?? stop believing everything you see or hear, and do your into thing in your OWN, you should go visit iran and see how many happy jews live besides muslims and christians, you sound so ignorant and dumb that it hurts my brain.. stop believing WESTEREN MEDIA and go visit iran you will see with ur own eyes how jews and muslim live in peace, and let me tell you something that many people dont know, as someone who has lived both in a muslim country and in a westeren country, jews and muslims live in peace in muslims countries MORE than they do in westeren countries.. and thats a fact that not many people seem to know.. its like we live in two different worlds.. nobody knows anything about the muslims countries cause everything yall do is judging and talks.. go and visit and see with your own eyes how life is actually so much better there than the west.. maybe thats the reason they are so obssesed with them and cant seem to let them live in that peace...
