Interview with Maurice Luca about the demonstrations in Cairo Egypt - December 2011

A Skype interview I conducted at River City Studios with the musician Maurice Luca as an assignment for an Advanced Audio Production course I was taking at Grand Valley State University. The interview was conducted a few weeks back and since then the situation has become much more volatile. Still, Marice provides some very worthwhile context and insight to a situation that has thus far received scant coverage in the US.
Also, please forgive the sloppiness of the editing. I threw it together in a hurry, and am not particularly in this kind of thing anyway. I very much hope people get a little something out of it all the same. In any event thanks for watching, and, and for those of you back in al-Om Idunnia, God bless and keep up the good work. Your bravery is an inspiration to us all.
(oh, btw, Maurice is not an "Audio Engineer" as I credit him at the beginning of the clip. He is, in fact, just a super talented Musician who's day to day work involves producing soundtracks for film and theatrical performances, as well as composing and preforming with the band Bikya. His truly excellent solo album, "Garaya" can be downloaded for free and in its entirety from here: snd.sc/tFrB4l
