Kathy just opens her mouth. Legend. Also love seeing Paula. Iconic. I’m glad I lived through this era ❤
I love that Kathy Burke is still with Dawn and Jennifer since all these years.

I never met them, but I worked in the studio where they did most of their recording. One of the engineers who had worked on some of their stuff, he told me that Bananarama were the only artists he'd ever worked with who had requested chairs when doing their vocals.

Enchanted? I’d say manipulated. Emotional abuse is a crime that goes unpunished, and that’s what she did to Michael Hutchence, drive him to suicide using their daughter. Thankfully we know a lot more about narcissistic abuse and are more alert to the tactics used by people like Yates.

Aw, yeah, I was Lananeeneenoonoo's number one fan. Got the record, I do.
I'm going to have to search for the song that was released by Bananarama and Lananeeneenoonoo now, Help, that video was mad 😂😂 This was lovely to see, the late great Paula Yates and seeing Dawn, Jennifer and Kathy all so incredibly young. They're about a decade older than me so I saw so much of them in my teens. Really loved their work and they were leading in their field, I'm going to have to watch some more of their stuff now too ❤
Brilliant! You just don't get comedy like this anymore

Jennifer used to hang out with the ladies of Bananarame, so of course she would know what they are like in reality. The bits where Eddie and Patsy would fall out of a car drunk in those Ab Fab episodes, are based on a time Jennifer saw one of the ladies from Bananarama fall out of a car butt first when they were drunk.

I am starting to sound like the older generation of when I was growing up in the 80’s, 90’s & 00’s but there really is nothing like the old days and great British Actors, Actors, Drama, Music and TV is dying out or has died. Sad and a shame.

2:33s Those were the days of Stock, Aitken and Waterman where the same backing track seemed to regurgitated over and over again for it to be heard over and over again whilst being used by numerous mediocre performers. It was clever observation by French & Saunders/scriptwriters, because you could be absolutely crap with no musical writing ability or talent whatsoever, because Stock, Aitken and Waterman production would get you over the finish line for chart topping success no matter what!!!!
