I love information society

Was a little surprised the 3 of them got together for a project. Back on VH 1 BANDS REUNITED Kurt backed out and the reunion fizzled . It was one of the better episodes because all the 4 original guys &girl were supercool when approached for show.

It was such a fantastic album, too. These guys are the proverbial fine wine, they're only getting better.

I know this comment is (at the time of this typing) three years old. But an honest question deserves an honest answer. Tommy Boy Records entered a partnership with Sony from 1985 to 2002. Sony acquired half of Tommy Boy Records label. So, technically true.

Love Information Society. Devo is hit or miss for me though. A bit too campy for my taste.

Three original members, minus the girl, whatever her name was. And that lead singer was a prick a few years ago for not joining his bandmates for "Bands Reunited." He committed, then flaked at the last minute, literally.

Information Society Okay. The whole "spontaneity" thing about the show irked you. Fine. Then again, you could have just agreed to do the show, done it, and your fans liked it. You make the idea of such a concert out to be a kick in the balls. Just sayin.

I think her name was Amanda Kramer, she was (or still is) the keyboardist of the Psycholdelic Furs!!

NoGuff Im sure as Kurt said in the interview above, they do this sort of thing not to pay their rent or anything (also if they cant even get facts straight then no Im not letting someone promote me when theyre blatently screwing crap up,)but when they get the time and whatnot and can just do whatever they feel like, yes, theyre amazing, yes their fans love them, but stepping off of a fanpoint and onto a human level here people have lives. For whatever reason int he world beknownst to you me or anyone else maybe he just did not feel like it or maybe he had things he was doing maybe he would but wouldnt do it in the light shining on him. But it has nothing to do with anyone else except Kurt. He is still a human being and hell me and my father are smart asses and I mean sure we love people but sometimes we want to live our own lives. Not the lvies someone else wants us to live int he words and descriptions millions want to hear us living them in or as. I used to sketch my ass off and people wanted begged payed and pushed me to be an artist, but my love comes from other things. Drawing and sketching wasnt something I wanted to do with my life entirely. I wanted to be artistic in a different way. One that pleased me. So if your a true fan, if you want to call yourself a supporter, support them as individuals first before you start taking it personal. I for one am sad yes they deserve more attention bc of how amazing they are, however, Im not bc Im sure they know what its like to be in the big house where you have no privacy no lives bc everything you do you cant even take a shit without being filmed doing it. And to be honest, regardless of what the Kurt wants to do with his life, Id like him to know he will always have at least one young fan out here Im only 27 and my children will grow up passing this music along, I have videos of my 3 and 4 year old dancing and telling me mommy this is good music makes me dance! And the thing is he has passed on happiness to a lot of people. Even in the usa.

That's a very interesting observation. I can't tell that they are at all, so I'm curious as to what gave it away for you? Of course, you may mean some slang-term that I'm not familiar with but I take it that the Shriners you mean are this lot = en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shriners

Now I am very disappointed. I always LOVED information society but I hate Devo and I am disappointed to know the members of information society are Devo fans 😭
