As a wildland firefighter myself our families keep us going. It’s hard and strenuous on my family and I see it. Amanda thank you for sharing. All of the hotshots will never be forgotten especially by me. Sending thoughts and prayers each one of your ways!
If not for this movie, I really wouldn’t have been able to appreciate the sacrifice these men made and truly respect what firefighters do. I’ve seen some negative remarks from a few family members, and I hope one day they come to realize that this movie will memorialize their lost loved ones.
Jennifer portrays her very well. Amanda seems so relaxed and a strong, strong woman. That is what I got from the movie and hearing Amanda talk is inspiring.
amazing, courageous woman to share her grief in such a positive way. God Bless you

The word brave is being thrown around so much these days it is diluted into a lesser thing.
That is not a picture of Jennifer Connelly on the horse. That is a picture of Andie MacDowell who plays Marvel Steinbrink in the film.
5:27 is Andie MacDowell on horseback, not Jennifer Connelly.
I'm pretty sure 5.27 is Andie MacDowell
