Karl Gnass, is an internationally renowned master figure artist & legendary teacher in the animation field. Karl has worked as an artist in story and character development. For nearly 30 years, he has taught classes and seminars on classical life and figure drawing and storyboarding at Disney & many of the major animation studios.
He has been teaching in-studio at the Animation Guild’s non-profit school, the American Animation Institute (AAI) for 28 years. He is also invited to teach workshops worldwide. Animation studios bring Karl aboard as an Anatomy & Story Consultant for Feature Films.
Karl has also authored of several books on drawing: Spirit of the Pose, Spirit And Force in Figure Drawing, and Head Shots, which are available on Amazon.
