I wondered if other Australian cities would have LIV after the ridiculous success of the Adelaide tournament. It seems to me that Australian fans are the best in the world, they really know how to embrace an event and enjoy it.

Not sure how many LIV tournaments there are in America but the Gold Coast does come to mind to accompany Adelaide here in Oz. One thing that Norman said last year has stuck in my mind. He described Adelaide as the biggest little city in the world. What he meant by that is Adelaide's smaller population fully embraces sporting events such as the Tour Down Under and the AFL Gather Round, both of which have been huge successes like LIV Golf. Potentially, the Gold Coast can stage another LIV tournament but it will depend on just how much the locals embrace it.

Agree mate, he has done an incredible job, AFL Gather Round, LIV Golf event last year was one of the best sporting events I have watched live. Great to see a Premier who is a true sporting fan, loves SA and actually listens to what the people want, GG sir!

They do have 54 players now and 54 is considered the perfect score. That being said I do not think k 54 holes matters and I really don’t think it’s what’s keeping them from joining the establishment and owgr.

LIV treats Golf like F1 … Unlike the PGA who treat Golf like NASCAR. I’d love to see two stops in Australia, 2 stops in Africa, 3 stops in Asia, 2 stops in India and the obligatory stops in Europe and the US GROW GLOBAL GOLF . Go LIV!!!

Historically golf was not a four day four round event nor was it 18 holes. But over the years for a variety of reasons is evolved into what we have now come to accept as a four day event. Reason for this is sponsors can maximize revenue if the event is held over a one week. They can attach variety of other events to the core tournament..dinners, par 3 events, pro ams etc… events are all about revenue. Maximizing the investment of a sponsor. There is nothing sacred or sacrilegious about a four day event..

Havent been watching pga this year its been dead asf liv isnt much more than pga this year but it has been more enjoyable this year because i have been watching more liv this year than the last 2
