Aaron is parading his guitar all over youtube rn, but sweetwater has no date for a pre-order even. Whenever Aaron says "soon" that usually means 1.5-2 years.

I got the pleasure of opening for intervals years ago. Got to kick it with Aaron for a bit, he's so down to earth and grateful for the people coming out to the shows. One of the goats of our generation. 🤘

Not to be negative but he’s made a mod to his 7 so it plays better, but won’t disclose what it is? It’s also safe to assume his stock models won’t come that way. In 2024 a secret mod is honestly pretty silly.

Agree pretty cringe although maybe he made a promise to the dude who told him. It's probably something lame and placebo though anyway like some specific brand of fretboard oil that smells pretty.

Unfortunately, even though I am happy he has a deal with Schecter and I wish him all the best, as I really dig his music and his personality, there are some flaws with the budget version of that model. I bought the AM-6 (about 1.5 k Euro), and it had some serious flaws. Even though it looked great and the neck felt great and the pickups rocked, the high e-string was way too close to the edge of the fretboard, so apparently, their CNC isn't working right. Also, the vibrato on that guitar has a serious design flaw: The strings come out of the vibrato block at a sharp angle and there is quite some friction on the edge of the hole they come out of, wich means that even with slight use of the wang bar, the low strings will go out of tune. Since the factory setup was horrible (neck looked "like a banana"), I had to consult a local luthier, and he pointed out the vibrato thing to me. Even though I loved the look and sound of the AM-6, I had to send it back to the store. 1.5K for a horrible setup, a substandard bridge and the thing about the neck being slightly off (hence the high e-string being too close to the fretboard edge),,, sorry, that doesn't work for me. I am sure the US models are better and I am happy if Aaron is happy, but the budget AM-6 was such a disappointment. :/

Schecter is actually one of the coolest guitar companies out there these days. Great people + great guitars

The guitars look SICK...I may have to sell my import AM-6! Absolutely LOVE those tuning heads! So glad they are putting D'Addario NYXLs on these...I wish they would get rid of the Ernie Ball strings on the Diamond Series lines. D'Addario just feel superior overall. I always just cut off the Ernie Balls when I get a Schecter. I love Schecter - but I wish two things for their production line. 1. Include at least a gig bag and 2. Put D'Addario (or Stringjoy) on them. It would be worth a slight bump in cost. Congrats to Aaron on the Custom Shop guitars - loved talking gear with you in LA last year!

They are Aaron Marshall custom Equinox and Solstice pickups from the Schecter Custom Shop. I think he said the bridge is 14K or so and the neck is 9 or 10K...so they are hot.

I have seen nothing about the price. If it is anything like the other Custom Shop artist models, it will be likely between $2500 and $3000 for the 6-string and more for the 7.
