Im not upset about the people who ignore and keep walking. In many ways, Interstellar is not about "time travel" but about the tragedy and beauty of the time we have. It is fitting that we see this dichotomy in the video, of some people so focused on the future they cant acknowledge the masterpiece being performed, and others who are in the present, putting off the future for just a few short minutes to appreciate it. Its the soundtrack of the duality of mankind. Hope anyone reading this has a great day of pleasant surprises, if you are present enough to see it 😊

Dude this made me tear up you are absolutely right I try to explain this movie to a lot of people but they don’t see it. Its worrying about tomorrow when today is rapidly flying by and when you get to to tomorrow you long for the moments that flew bye wishing for a mechanism to catch even a faint feeling of what was misssed.

It blows my mind that 99% of everyone just kept walking and paid no attention to such incredible talent and artistry. I can remember many years ago when I lived in New York City that I used to stop to listen to someone play or perform music down in the subway stations. I'll never forget this one young girl who used to set herself up by the S-Train with her small beat up Casio keyboard and my god she played with such talent. I used to make a point to look for her whenever I was near that area and give her some change. She mainly played classical and I remember her playing a lot of Chopin (just like Peter, here). I never spoke to her but always did look for her. Wonder if she ever made it to Carnegie Hall.

I don't know why but these public performances resonate with me so much more. Perhaps because it's how music is meant to be played - in front of people, out in the open. Sure, recorded videos at home are still great and serve their own purpose, but they just don't have the same excitement as a live performance. This was fantastic.

Wow ,so few people stood and listened to this masterpiece! It's unbelievable to see how disconnected we have become and how lost we are in our thoughts and desires. We are truly living in the dark times....May God have mercy upon us. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful piece,

I was sadden by that level of apathy as well. To be fair, many people are in a rush in a typical airport to catch flights, and don't have the time to revel in the instrumental mastery of someone like Peter. However, putting that aside, I also think a contributing factor as to why so many people don't appreciate musical virtuosity has to do with the fact that people have been robbed of a sense of what really good and highly skilled music sounds like. In a world inundated by hip-hop, auto-tune, and pop music that wants to emulate the simplicity of hip-hop, it becomes difficult for many to appreciate the splendor of this technically sophisticated playing.

dopamine, its why people form a crowd when the boogies play because its a shot of pleasure straight to the brain when Jazz is up, but a masterpiece like this needs to be savoured slowly like a fine wine. And most peoples brains are way too fried to care for that long

Very few places, outside of NASA, is such an excellent rendition of the Interstellar theme more apropos. An airport is a temple to human ingenuity and a testament to the adventurous spirit of our species. The Interstellar theme, as played so expertly by Peter, is the perfect song to pay tribute to this achievement.
