International student receives compensation
A private Vancouver college has misled an international student, the provincial regulator which oversees the industry has ruled. The Private Training Institutions Branch has ordered Granville College to pay back thousands of dollars to the student. As the CBC's Kiran Singh reports, it is also launching an investigation into another complaint.

Thank goodness for One Voice Canada. It sounds like a stellar organization that prevents people from being ripped off while just trying to better their lives.
Curious, what other institutions were they accepted into, any accredited schools ? What about in India, were you on the fast track, fielding multiple offers, or was this no-name, too-good-to-be true offer the only one you were accepted to ? C'mon CBC.. lets report the entirety of the story, not this bias version..

Just a back door into the country . Everyone knows it
Are you going to report on international students completely falsifying their documents including their education certificates? Will Canadians get compensation for that?

We don't see many articles about Canadians having to move out of Canada
Kiran, take some pride in your appearance.
