I'm a Ford/New Holland man.. But I always have a soft spot for these Nashs.. Beautiful tractor.

Got a 4wd one myself Doug, she old but reliable and my favourite sounding tractor. 👍

I am very surpriced, that the 2WD 956XL this Dowdeswell handle so easy and so deep. He needs not the full power of the engine. Very good machine and very good driver too. Good video with a very good sounding "oldtimer machine". Best greetings to Great Britain

_ Only possible at easy grounds ... try it on heavy soils / heavy clay you will see it goes over 956 limits ... 😐

The 956 never come from the factory with a turbo but always had that great sound

Alors la truc de ouf 5 socs en 2 roues motrices ns ont avez un 1056xl mais en 4 roues avec 5 socs la c est une superbe vidéo trop beau a voir

Lovely original looking tractor. I drove a 1056XL 4WD from new back in 1984 same age as that one. Would love to know what became of it. Think it got exported. Reg B693 CEG

Great Motor and coping well. The Dowdeswell plough isnt the lightest to lift either. Well made and bloody yeavy but showing no problem lifting it

The simple things are sometimes the best. Cracking vid of a fantastic tractor . Wonder if its still fitted with a Pye lM/MW radio or similar 🤔 stay safe 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Sounds like a drone in the background or was someone using a brushcutter or is it something else???

Well spotted, its a drone!!!

Surprisingly the 956 handles the 5 corps ,, normally 5 are too heavy for him,, but you can hear at engine sound he's close to his limits

Bon dieu non seulement c est qu un 956 mais en 2 roues motrices et il tire une 5 corps et bah chapeau,bon la parcelle et la terre s y prête sûrement mais quand même après je sais bien que ces case IH ont des moteurs qui tiennent la route ,en tout cas c est super beau a regarder ça a de la gueule

Et le sound du moulin que du bonheur👌👌

Allmost 6 liters cylinder capacity an a long stroke engine!

Funny how we would need 250hp now to pull five furrows

@@supersonic1246 yeah but surly 25hp a furrow should be enough! Only had 2hp per furrow when ploughing with our four legged friends🐴🐴

Dans de bonne conditions c cool mais faut pas que ça soit trop humide en tout cas c est bien cool a voir c est du bon tracteur

It only works at medium grounds like this , at heavy clay-grounds it will not work cause tractor will raise the nose ... 😐

En 4 ème tortue a 1700 tours min ça tire sans consommé trop
