When you go European countries or to the USA, you have to fill the customs declaration form. For example you're not allowed to bring fruit, vegetables and meat. Before your arrival the stewardess will distribute the forms. In those forms you may have to answer many questions like, which flight, how much new things you're bringing in and they also inform you how much you can brings including cash, jewellery and duty free goods. Get those information before your travel. Also get some information how many checked baggage and weight, and how many carry on luggage with measurements. Still many things to plan.
