They’re for extra crew members that have to work the trip, but they can also be utilized for commuting crew members to/from work or for leisure travel.

I loved our hotel in Rome. Our room was on the street side, a bit noisy but had not problem sleeping. It was so much fun people watching. It's amazing how they double park over night. I have no idea if it was legal, assume it was, and also some young guys just stopped their car, right in the lane, not place to pull over or park, and were talking to a couple of girls and everyone in that lane just went around them, no honking, yelling and so on. It was mind blowing. Rome is a great city.

A very interesting vlog. Must be very nice to get back to your home sweet home bed!! 🥰

The only place I've ever travelled to is Italy (3 times). My parents and family are from Italy and my parents moved to Australia in 1957 and 58. Melbourne to Rome is such a damned long journey though! These days, it's down to about 20 hours. Rome is crazy. All of Italy has history, but Rome is history on steroids. Every corner you find something you've seen in a book. It's so lovely to see how your career has progressed and the countless destinations you're visiting 😊

Not when you’re scheduled, but when you sign up for your position (your jumpseat) at the crew briefing. You sign up based on seniority, the pursers already have their positions and responsibilities. You also sign up for your crew rest then too. The responsibilities and your location during service are very aircraft specific. That’s why I share a few of those details when I work that specific position. I worked in main cabin both ways this trip.

We took a Mediterranean cruise in 2019,with only 1 day in Rome, & we coukdnt get goodphotos due to limited time & the crowds( everyone doing selfies!). Thank you for great vudeos of the places we couldn't get near!
