    Thanks for another helpful video! You mentioned that in order to score maximum points for teaching we should organize a teaching programme. I was wondering if that includes organizing an online webinar series and if yes what kind of feedback would that require. Thanks in advance!

    of course glad you found the video helpful.. for each teaching session you would need to get feedback from the people attending the sessions for evidence. its also good idea to work with the medical education manager or postgraduate centre as they usually can provide certificate and also help you organise the teaching programme.

    All of the interview dates have been taken up really fast. I am left with a date that's basically the day after MRCP. Oriel says that you can change the date after booking depending on whether the slots free up - does you know how to do this?!

    Hi, Can I apply to IMT without full GMC registration? (I got a CREST form signed)

  • @DoctorNura

    @DoctorNura

    Жыл бұрын

    yes i've copied & pasted as below: GMC status in relation to IMT application You will need GMC registration/licensing before the intended post start date, ie August 2023, however you do not need to have gained this at the time you make your application. re: CREST form it needs to be submitted with the application, more info in the link below: www.imtrecruitment.org.uk/recruitment-process/am-i-eligible/foundation-competences

    There are very few posts for consultants on the NHSjobs website. Does that mean that we face huge competition after getting our CCT in any of the IMT sub specialities while trying for consultant jobs? (As opposed to GP consultants)

  • @DoctorNura

    @DoctorNura

    2 жыл бұрын

    There are always shortages of consultants in the NHS, however different specialties have different demands, some specialties are more popular or in demand than another. After getting CCT, there are always job offers available and there is no shortages of jobs.

  • @DoctorNura

    @DoctorNura

    Definitely! you could mention it in the application that you have booked for the mrcp part 1 and it can be viewed as supporting evidence/ commitment to the specialty. It might be helpful if you get the results in time for the interview as you can mention it during the interview if you've passed it. all the best!

    Hi I have a question , iam in my internship year 1 in my home country and I was planning to take mrcpi part 1 (Irish membership ) during this period would it count in my application ? and I want to finish the 3 parts of Ireland membership during imt training instead of mrcpuk would that be allowed ? And if I join for fy2 as my fist job would I need to fill crest form ? Thank u ☺️

  • @DoctorNura

    @DoctorNura

    Жыл бұрын

    hi , i would think so as the full MRCPI is accepted and recognised by GMC. during IMT it is one of the requirements to complete MRCP UK so I am not sure whether if its allowed to complete MRCPI instead. crest form is only needed to enter specialty training and if you have not completed UK foundation programme or standalone FY2 post.

  • @farihaharrison7299

    Thank u for replying 🙏🏻 💕 so I won’t need to fill a crest form for ct1 in imt only when I get to apply for st3 ,is that what u mean ? And is it possible to join fy2 stand-alone with Oet below 400 ?

  • @DoctorNura

    @@farihaharrison7299 yes if you complete a standalone fy2 in the Uk then you don’t need crest form, Re oet it’s under gmc jurisdiction..you need a B at least in each testing area

    Hi! Thank you for making such helpful videos. I'm interested in internal medicine since I want to do a fellowship later. Can we take a few months off (break) after internal medicine training before joining our fellowship (hematology, oncology, cardiology etc). Also before getting into internal medicine training do we need to give any exam and pass it?
