I don't know, but 5:55 "get your finger a little wet and just rub that caulk right in there like that, can do it real quick" kinda was the one that made me 😱😂
2023, still one of the best series on how to paint, with all the little things explained!
As a female diy homeowner with ambitious projects, I feel intimidated by starting new projects; even ones I have done before and wish that I had done better...thank you for the detailed demos! I have much more confidence with your directions, and positive that I can improve and learn as I go...thank you!

A really good teacher. Be sure to watch all the videos.
The spackle ghost is genius!
You're an excellent teacher. You seem like you didn't want to do the video at different parts, but that's what I enjoy about it because it feels real. Also the upbeat music is perfect. All the tidbits that you talk about from doing this for a long time are what helps the most in my opinion.
I just wanted to say a massive thank you. I've never painted a house before and I watched your videos and then painted ceilings, walls and skirting boards. I'm really pleased with the results which wouldn't have been possible without the videos first!

Whole family watched all of this series, fantastic info. I have often said I would rather clean out a septic tank than paint because when painting I knew before I started that I would always be unhappy with the result. This helped greatly with that. Got the book as well, I know it is not a how to paint book but a book about painters, I like biographies. Thanks for both.
You’re very good at teaching the job!!! 👍👍👍💯 I too am a painter with 22 years of experience. I see you too know what you’re doing! 👍👍👍
I cracked up at the spackle ghost sound. I wasn't expecting that all. Awesome
Very detailed step by step instructions on what any homeowner should watch before painting anything inside or out of the home.
anywhere you see a crack, be sure to put caulk in there. will do. awesome video btw

So many homes and businesses need House Painting info to keep them in good shape.
Spackle ghost - love it!!
Thank you very much! I find all of your videos awesome!!! You instill a sense of confidence that I was surely lacking! Not anymore!!! You answer questions that I didn't even know I had but would surely run into!!! You are a great teacher!!!
Awesome! Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge! I can’t wait to paint now (actually, I’m not really looking forward to it but it does seem less daunting!).
Very specific, and informative. Fantastic tutorial, dude. Seriously.
keep going back to these videos for a quick refresher every time I paint. Love your videos and a hint of sarcasm/humor in them. Also your book was awesome! You're a talented writer. Thank you for sharing with all of us!
Another funny part--"Anywhere you see a crack..you're gonna wanna put some caulk in there." Ha ha ha. LOL. This is so freakin awesome!
Just would like to say, man your are good at what you do and thank you.
"Spackle ghost." Excellent idea.
Awesome video, with the heart of a teacher! Thank you..!
I always enjoy your videos. Thanks. I'll have to pick up a copy of your book one of these days. God bless you brother
I am glad to see a painter tell people to protect windows with tape and something. As a window cleaner, I see so many house painters who do not. That said, I paint without a net, but I also take the time to not drip or splatter, too.
I do so many of the same good techniques and man you described everything well. I do the paper awnings over doors and windows too.
Great video for beginners like myself😊 very appreciative for you taking the time out to explain and right to the point and showing me. Really helpful
I've decided to paint a studio room in my house. I always see couples painting their own house and saving lots of money, so I want to try with this small and see if I have the courage to do other rooms :) Thanks so much, the prepping seems HORRIBLEEEE!!!

Thanks so much!!

Thank you so much - very valuable info and easy for us painting newbies to understand.
Hi--If you watch the entire series you will see how I "edge" these lines between wall/ceiling and wall/trim. I often do the lines freehand, and I show the tricks I use to make them look straight. In certain instances it pays to use tape though, especially when you have natural-wood trim (use blue tape). I also usually tape things I am painting above, such as baseboard, to prevent splatter. Too much to explain here completely...it's all in the videos. Thanks!
I love this guy! Informative AND hilarious.
Great stuff, very helpful and informative!!!! Huge thank you!
Excellent video, humor and good info! Thanks!
Great video. Thanks, John.

Question, I am paying a professional painter to paint the interior of my home. He is on day 4. I am noticing that he has not filled in the little holes. He is just painting over them. However. You can still see that there’s a hole there. Your video confirms that he is not doing a thorough job. Trying to find the best way to approach him without making him fee as though I am trying to tell him how to do his job. Any advice as to how I can bring this to his attention ? Thanks
Great lessons! Thanks for sharing.
Wow! I learned so much, thanks!

very informative, thanks!!
great video and super helpful!!! my gf came over to me and asked me what kind of dirty video I was watching since she overheard something like use your finger to rub that caulk right there....
Great Video - thank you!
5:20 lol i nearly died laughing
Helpful video thanks!
Im gonna a painter apprentice, cant wait
For those who never really or ever done any caulking needs to know most caulk guns have a trigger pressure release & or turning the pressure stick handle to unlock it's pressure will stop the caulk from continuing to spew out & dripping everywhere. to also note the smaller you cut the opening at the tip is the finer amount will squeeze out. You need also run your finger over it with dipping your finger in water for a better smooth coverage. Beware that large gaps may take another coat. I am a good man to have on hand' Dave the handyman. Good luck & God Bless!

Great Video
Thanks for the Good video
Amazing advice
A quick tip. If you don't have spackling or caulk on hand and need to do it quick you can use white toothpaste to fill small nail holes. Just small ones though.
Good educational video.
Spackle ghost - WTF Made me laugh.
Great advice.
