why am i exhausted just by watching this prep?

I can't believe I was able to paint my bedroom AND my office/music studio by myself. Seriously, thank you so much for this video! I literally grabbed EVERYTHING you asked, didn't question it, and followed everything you said. Y'all are the bomb!

Im curious, if you don’t mind sharing how much money did you spend on paint supplies excluding the paint? I bought some supplies the other day and it was so expensive 😭

hello comment from 3 years ago. I watched this video first. I still got my painters tape sticking to my hands and pants and getting all crooked. My drop cloth got tangled. I splattered paint everywhere. Knowing is half the battle. Not being an incredible clutz is the part that gets me though.

She's a real asset to everyone. Please keep her coming!

Wow I love Monica! I don't usually leave comments but she just made painting a room seem so accessible doable! I was debating even doing it myself but now I definitely will be!

She's a fantastic teacher, so descriptive, eloquent and so innately and effortlessly informative

I don’t know how often I watched every segment with Monica. I love the weekender. It’s the absolute best. I love Monica and everything she does. PLEASE BRING BACK THE WEEKENDER!!! I promise I will watch every episode about 100 - 700 times.

Awwww glad I saw this video. We just brought a home and I'm actually sitting in the middle of a room floor staring at my computer figuring where the heck I'm going to start. I want to do upgrades on my home myself where I can feel extra proud. Figuring out colors has me cornered for the moment but surely I'll get to the right place.

Personally, I'd recommend going over previously painted walls with a damp rag instead of a dry one to remove any dust from sanding.

My walls right now has drawings, crayons, pencils, pen marks, and spider webs in the corners. All courtesy of a girl in her toddler days. The walls in this video has none of that but it doesn't matter as a spray bottle with mild detergent can take care of the spider webs and dirt. The paint with overwhelm and cover up the child's scribble and artwork, nice! Thanks so much for your video.

So funny to see Monica mention eye protection and face mask but not have her hair tucked away in a shower cap. Other than that, great presentation! Glad to see the confirmation that I was doing the right steps and had the right tools! I especially loved the use of the painter's knife (multipurpose tool) for the caulking edge!

This is a very good video, it's all about the prep. Never use dust sheets without plastic underneath, paint drips will always drip through the weave.

I like the way she says caulk 😁 thanks KZread for this random video suggestion.
