Yes, my favorite is coming home to a beautiful clean home and a fresh bed after traveling. No place like home. ❤

Thank you for encouraging me to keep going! ❤ Doing so much for free, and on little budget: Painting rooms, cabinets and furniture (fixing stuck drawers), making curtains and sofa covers, changing out the trim on TnG so it doesn’t hurt arms ($45) and making a nice office desk. Faux greenery and diffusers. Simplifying large yard to make less work. Decluttering for 8yrs. Mental health cost: Priceless. Can’t believe how much interior design is changing my life. It’s slow going but everywhere I look I smile and say, I did that! Valentina, you started me on this and I can’t thank you and Jack enough for the laughs and telling me I deserve a fun, calming and exciting home to thrive in.

Great ideas and inspiration. I could not agree more. I was just saying to my husband that our decision years ago to have separate bedrooms and bathrooms has given us both a quality of life and peace and taken an opportunity for conflict out of our lives together. We each decorate, organize and live in them according to our comfort level. My head is busy and messy - I don’t need my environment in that state as well. HAHAHA!

So happy to see the mirror back over the fireplace!!!! 🎉

Funny you should mention formal dining rooms and entertaining havens. I’m having some friends over who own and run a local hotel that is renowned for its low key rustic, but high end feel. People from all over the world stay there for its charm and appeal. I’m trying not to be intimidated by this. I’m sure not too many people have them over as guests for this reason. But after seeing this video, I’m feeling much more confident about entertaining them this weekend!

Dishware is my favorite thing to collect! I have a family of 4, but buy everything in 16 for my husband's BIG GREEK family. We use our "formal" dining room non-stop and our house is a revolving door which we 🖤🖤🖤

Loved this one. I'm 62, from formal, to not..I love to entertain! Love the bar cart, the actual dining room. A huge fan❤❤❤

Self care is important, however, what really makes me happy is focusing on creating an environment in my home that is comfortable and enjoyable for my husband and kids. It makes me feel so satisfied when my husband can relax in the space I’ve created and when I see my kids enjoy their play room and bedrooms. I work full time, so it’s not an easy task, but if I were just doing it for myself, I wouldn’t be motivated to keep our home as clean and comfortable.

This video spoke to me. You are such a professional. I so appreciate the time you spend passing on your knowledge. Happy Sunday.

My new word, 'biophilic'. I've been maximizing my window space and adding mirrors and plants since the '70's. Also collecting lots of beautiful green colors on china, vases, pottery and books. Yes to browns , golds and coppery tones. Def' goal of bringing outdoors in.

So inspirational V. Thank you for such great content and thought provoking ideas. I'm struggling with pets lol. I rescued a cat family and we love them so much but it's a lot in the house with the scratching furniture etc. I've been buying a lot of boucle fabrics which is helpful (thanks for the recommendation a while ago). But you've inspired me to go further with keeping our home clean, organized, and beautiful with the CATS!!! Thank you. You are 5 star designer!!

If anyone want to go formal, crystal, silver, China, you can get it reasonably at resale shops. Kids don’t want their parents formal stuff. Hopefully that will change. Beauty is fun.
