The more immersion, the better. Really appreciate your dedication and that you keep updating your old campains with new features. Can‘t imagine how much work this will be in a couple of years, when you have even more campaigns to kepp updated and bug free.

Yeah, that's the hard part. Fortunately I'm lucky enough to have this as my full time job, so I can dedicate enough time to the old ones :)

I got so annoyed pressing the space bar in VR. Eventually I realised I could just assign space bar to a voice attack command. So I made a new command where I say "check" and it presses space bar for me. This sounds like a way smoother solution though!

As always, thank you for your on-going dedication and constant work. Personally, I use Voice Attack for the spacebar (spoken command "check" sends the spacebar keypress) so it ends up feeling VERY real), but I definitely see the advantage of this. You've set yourself up a LOT of work, so know that it is appreciated. Can't wait to see the F-4 Campaign (and the F-4 itself...;-).

You set the bar high! This is a great idea!

So awesome. I was actually pondering mapping all the replies in voice attack since I felt the spacebar thing was annoying and immersion breaking, so this is very welcome.

Your campaigns are a gift that keeps giving! Well worth the asking price. Thank you for the mind-boggling amounts of work you pour into them post-launch!

I enjoyed all tree of the tomcat campaigns with speed and angels being my top DCS campaign so far. Looking forward to it as at some point i will most likely replay the S&A... but i would love some semi-fictional story driven campaign while keeping the real feel and split in few parts (separated campaigns) where first one would start in F4 or even earlier and fallow the pilot story that end up again in F14

Maybe make the checklists optional? So you can progress the mission, even if you screw up somewhere. Maybe a radio command to skip forward?

You should include a factory new cockpit for the campaign so it's gonna be easier to read the labels in VR. If you gonna make that I would buy it even if it's only the factory new cockpit without any mission.

@@ReflectedSimulations Sadly they stated that they where not gonna do changes to the cockpit. I have the F-14 but I don't use it because it is so hard to read the Labels in the cockpit and it is so annoying. So I'm stuck with a airplane with a trashed cockpit. In my opinion it is the worst cockpit so far in DCS when using VR.

Really great new feature. But one thing i don't understand. Why can't the mission proceed if you don't follow the checklist? Because if you want to keep it milsim level as you said, then there is also a possibility for the pilot to forget things,/ignore things in the checklist or simply do things wrong with the checklist causing all kind of issues. Not really realistic if you can't ignore the checklist or make mistakes with it.

The checklists are in place so that the pilot doesn’t forget anything. If you want to ignore it just flip the switch and flip it back but not sure why you’d wanna do that.

@@ReflectedSimulations My argument is that checklists steps can be forgotten by accident or because to much workload, distractions. So things can go wrong in the long end. Like weapon not firing in the het of the moment because you forgot something in the checklist. Or gears still up (simple example). Now there is no room for error like in real life because the mission won't even proceed if you don't follow the checklist by the letter.

@@WinchesterDelta1 According to Bio the RIO had the checklist on his kneeboard and he was reading it with his finger on the paper. The chances of forgetting something are very slim, certainly not enough to turn these 1000 triggers into 7-8000 just to add something that would probably never happen.

A bit off topic but how do you get the voice subtitles to come up at the top left?

Since you have a direct line to ED, tell them we need PA systems. Air Boss yelling over the Carrier PA System, Fortunate Son blasting as a Huey flies overhead, placing speaker towers in the ME at FARPs, or air bases, and able to play recordings like we do radio stations, but localized, like jet engine noise.
