The scroll wheel doesnt zoom the charts for me - does anyone know where the settings are for this? In my case by default mousewheel changes the width of individual candles rather than zoom in or out

great video, I started with robinhood, then went to webull, so I'm used to simplicity, this is definitely more complex. but orders fill way easier on here from what I hear, super excited, got 2 trading days down so far, just struggled getting in and out of trades lol The automatic trend line drawing on the charts gets me every time, I try to click and drag to scroll, but then a line comes up, I'm too used to tradingview

@@shaunglendinning I have no idea to be honest, I gave up on IBKR because of it's complexity, I'd rather sacrifice a penny price difference by using WeBull, feeling comfortable in a trade knowing there is a simple keyboard shortcut to get all out, being able to easily look at charts and place limits, everything feels easier I probably didn't give IBKR enough time, but I'd rather not be in a situation where I feel uncomfortable being in a position

Is it possible to enter into an options trade using a limit order based on the target price of the underlying being hit rather than based on the price of the option itself?

Great tutorial! Would suggest placing differnt condition orders for options trades. Setting a stop, trailing stop etc. I am always getting into trouble with those. Ex. If I have a position for 3 contracts and sell 1 contract once I reach my target of say 10%, then I want to put a stop loss on the remainder of the 2 contracts at break even, but then I sell 1 more contract once it reaches 20%. What happens to my stop loss which was for 2 contracts? Do I have to modify it to 1 contract or will it know I only have 1 left? And lets say I want to now move my Stop loss a little higher than my break even do I have to change the qty as well? These are things that sometimes need to be done quickly so any help you have would be great! Oh and maybe do a segment using the mobile app. Thanks!

Hello, I have a question about this platform - I set it up and I'm practicing learning the platform with the paper account. Often when I place an order it does not get filled - is the funded platform the same way...? (placed one yesterday and watched the bid/ask prices go up one side of my bid and down the other..........about 2 hours later the order filled - but the price was on its way down and...well I lost some paper money) I literally watched the price dance right by my bid - and I have seen this a few times now.........what causes this....? is it because its a paper account...? Also, I had a stop order set at 820, it filled at 815 - price fell from like 900, right by my stop order (smci), just wondering what causes this, I;m glad it was paper - otherwise it was a 250 in the L column thanks - great video

I am very afraid of InterActive Brokers. I am one of the Philippine US Expats Schwab kicked off Stock Trading. InterActive Brokers is one of the very few who will let us trade on the NYSE now. ITB plantform is very different from Schwab. Also, lacks real time data unless you do the point in time price or pay $15 dollars a month for data.

It is a complicated platform for sure. Execution speed is terrible, as is the stop loss method - blows by my stops and keeps going for dollars.......

I expected something helpful, to walk me through thee platform from beginning, it was not helpful
