My opinion on maahir Black Edition: #1 It's NOT for everyone. #2 It has a peculiar DNA #3 It smells like a combination of 3 perfumes: (Encre Noir + Black Afgano + Terroni) #4 Smokey pro max ultra BOOM #5 Great performance #6 JUST for the 3 months of winter Also maahir in Persian means: Experienced, Expert in a special field.

I've watched a lot of reviews of this fragrance and most of them warn about the power and offensiveness of the scent but more and more I feel compelled to buy it and try it.

Yes, dark and smoky drydown. Most guys won’t like this but I love it. This is Dracula’s fragrance of choice!😮 Enjoy!

Very welcome. Hey, I discovered soon after making this video that Maahir Black is actually a clone of Terroni by Orto Parisi. I also have a review of that if you're interested.

My wife loves this fragrance. She says it is mysterious and dark. She used the word sensuous. She really loves the incense dry down.

Glad you enjoy this great fragrance! Yes, many months after posting this review I realized that it is a clone of Terroni. Terroni was unknown to me and unavailable in stores where I was living at the time.

I've had my eye on this one and your review matches the others I've seen. I love Encre Noire and Raghba Wood Intense and at the price I'd be willing to give it a try. Have you tried the original Maahir?

Original Maahir is totally different. Floral, fruity and slightly feminine to my nose. Just a warning though, Encre Noire and Raghba Wood Intense are not similar to Maahir Black at all.

YSL Y EDP for warmer weather. I would go with Azzaro TMW for colder months - it accomplishes the same gourmand mission of SWYI but with more woods. So, smells less ''clubby'' without sacrificing on performance

I wouldn’t buy Armani stronger with you …..Buy Kismet , way nicer an overall better fragrance, it’s divine & unlike anything else . Performs for around 10 hours 🔥

Liked it in store, then I bought it, only wore it a few times, i stopped, 😂it was too tense for me and also offensive to a number of friends. Maybe 1 or 2 sprays max

It would have been nice if they'd added a resinous or sweet note to counterbalance the heavy smoke. But as it stands, definitely an intense fragrance that isn't for everyone.

How similar is this to A City on Fire as far as the smoke level?

Not quite as smoky as ACOF. But, Maahir is basically only smoke, while ACOF evolves into other accords over time.

I feel it exactly as an Encre noire turned very very dark

This smells like a mix of saliva, whiskey with a coke and smoke. That's it. I had to try it a couple of times. But finally I'm really fond of it!

Have you tried Oud 24 Hours Majestic Gold? I’ve never smelled Stronger With You Leather, but supposedly Majestic Gold is a dupe. Either way it’s the best $25 I’ve spent on a frag

@@kez850 I did some digging and well... I will just say that you should expect a review of 24 Hours Majestic Oud in the next few weeks. I live in Spain so unfortunately the amazingly priced fragrances on American discounters are unavailable to me. Occasionally I will find an Indian or Middle Eastern website that is willing to ship here, though transit time is quite long. Hopefully it is worth the wait!

Not similar. This smells like burnt wood and not much else. Supremacy Incense is far more complex; warm resins, incensy smoke, spices and some leather make it infinitely more exiciting in my opinion.

At least in my experience, once I warmed up to fragrances like Supremacy Incense, an entirely new universe of fragrances was opened to me. There are a lot of heavy oriental fragrances out there waiting to be enjoyed by you! Don't be surprised if simple freshies and gourmands no longer satisfy your fragrance desires! 😂
