Those are the elephants of Amboseli National Park. All the elephants have long tusk. Great place to visit.

He is about 25 years old, the one with big tusks, and the one with the short mishaped tusks is a 40 year old.

Love the cheeky lil look back as he tears off.

This is an awesome sight to behold, especially when the 2nd elephant (on the left) is smarter to have backed out after seeing two mammoth tusks & even not engaging with puny humans on their toy machines, because this mammoth tusks of other elephant could have poked 2 holes in its butt, if it would have shown misplaced anger towards humans, for loosing a fight to a overmatched & experienced rival.

​@sivadas6690 did you know that elephants have a sort of "handedness" like we humans do? very often, one tusk will be much shorter in comparison to the other because the shorter one is their favored side! i'll bet you anything that the elephant on the left is "right-handed" and uses his right tusk to rest his trunk at night, to break roughage from plants, and many other things! ❤ you can usually tell when tusks are trimmed to keep them shorter as they will be around the same size and shape, this elephant has 2 vastly different tusks!

In Africa no such trimming is done or allowed or needed Its known that this bull lost part of one in an earlier fight.Tusk that are shorter often occur due to abrasion from continual feeding on hard wood trees

Looks like that the bull with the long tusks is the younger more stronger male. And the one who’s missing one of its tusks was the older and more experienced one. Probably lost part of its tusk by poachers or something

The longer tusk is older male. The smaller tusk is younger. The older male has experienced of flights. But younger with small tusk isn't that much experienced .
