The rivet idea was pretty smart. Nice repair, but I hope that filler was flexible for bumpers. Also I have heard super glue supposed to not adhere to body filler. I never use it. I use plastic welder and screen and melt it. I have used copper flattened for broken flat tip on welder and works. Bury metal in heavy plastic and then flexible filler and never had a return unless cars have another accident

I think it was only temporary to keep it in place the staples are the permanent fix

A técnica é válida, no entanto na parte interna, tudo bem, mas externamente, ficou claro que requer um acabamento mais aprimorado deixando realmente sem vestigio algum do conserto. Parabéns pela idéia e por compartilhar conosco. Abraço!!!

Me gusto la idea del uso del tubo de pvc, ya que es moldeable con la pistola de calor. 👍 Aunque no se que tanto tiempo puedam resistir esas pequeñas grapas, ya que son de un material frágil. Lo tendre presente para futuras reparaciones.

I love the process of using the pvc pipe, however, you were a bit too "heavy handed" with the filler. Absolutely no need for the huge amount you put on, besides there is a lighter, flexible, plastic filler you can use, rather than that heavy grade you used.

Muy buen trabajo. Hizo algo similar con los espejos de mi moto. En el lijado quiere bastante paciencia para que no se note. Queda un poco levantado. Pero nuevamente excelente trabajo. 🔥👏

You need to be a good finish then buy a new one
The stevie wonder finish .... just don't let him feel it ... wrong type of paint no primer non flexible filler... but the repair was not bad ... 5/10 5 point for repair zero for the finish...

La idea es buena aunque con fallas en la ejecución, pues se tiene que lijar al termino del trabajo con grapas y por la parte de la cara visible ya que la masilla no se adiere sobre la pintura que esta al rededor del parche, ya despues se aplica la masilla. Saludos desde Necaxa Puebla. México

Good repair. Some glaze putty used after the sanding will fill any of the small voids. A sandable primer will also help.

Es un buen proceso solo con la observación de que se le olvidó lijar antes de aplicar la pasta, lo cual puede provocar fracturas y/o desprendimiento del recubrimiento en la pasta no olvidando que se trata de una pieza de motocicleta sujeta a vibración constante.
