I have two laptops One Ultrabook with Intel i7 8th gen (16gb ram)and one gaming with Ryzen 4600h(8gb), I don't even see any difference in using CPU intensive programs(structural analysis) but I have seen that a GPU is really making a difference. And higher ram is also something that determines speed.

i5 bro autocad uses only 1 or 2 core and in this higher clockspeed matters and i5 1135g7 has 4.2ghz clock speed and ryzen 5 4600h has 4 ghz clock speed

amd is good for gaming and intel is good for working. let me explain: intel i3 is for people who want to play average pc games like roblox in 30 fps and casual web browsing youtube stuff. i5 is for people who want to play games like minecraft/valorant. i7 is for people who want to play like call of duty morden warfare in 60 fps/120 fps (depends on the graphic settings) while i9 is for people who want to design and 3d print stuff. AMD ryzen 3 is slightly better than the i3 but not better than the i5, it is for people who want to run multiple apps at once and multiple browsers at once since it has many threads. ryzen 5 is for people who want to play games like fortnite in 60 fps / cyberpunk in 30 fps ryzen 7 is for people who want to play games like cod mordern warefare + valorant + minecraft + many youtube tabs + many apps open at the same time ryzen 9 is for people who work in NASA now to the graphic cards amd doesnt have good graphic cards (if you want to play high end games) for games like roblox, you will need an intel UHD / any amd radeon for games like minecraft, you will need an iris XE / any amd radeon for games like cyberpunk and gta 5, you will need an AMD radeon 480, and an intel wont work since it would not be budget friendly for games like rdr 2 and stuff, you will need an RTX or an AMD radeon rx 660

Today I have visited Dell showroom for Inspiron 14 5415 Ryzen 5. Same. Laptop with Intel i5 have 5k difference. Salesperson told me that Intel has good will that AMD don't have. I just bought the laptop 2 day ago with ryzen 5 5500u and did gaming for 3 hr . CPU temperature never went about 80•c . This cpu is really power efficient . My friend has i5 10th gen . And his temperature easily rises to 85-90 while gaming . So I would say ryzen is better .
