Hello, I am The Mysterious Tech. In this video, I talked about the points to pay attention to when buying a computer. How to choose a processor? How to choose a graphics card? The answers to questions like what is bottleneck are in this video. The points to be considered by those who will build a work or gaming computer and more are answered in this video.

Guys, actually, I prepared this video a long time ago. (Processor models with high cache, like Ryzen 7 5800x3D, had not been released yet.) Therefore, it would be good to make a small update to the video. In selecting a processor for a gaming computer, instead of using the "cpu single core benchmark list," you can refer to the "Processor ranking list based on gaming performance" from the link below: www.cpubenchmark.net/top-gaming-cpus.html Btw, what do you think about the new voice? In previous videos, you were saying that the voice was too aggressive. That's why I wanted to try a different voice.

One advice to add to the video’s recommendations. Always check when is next generation of graphics card or processor expected to be announced or launched. Depending on when you’re building PC and you’re in that time of the cycle that if you can wait few months the release is happening then you can get discount from the model you’re purchasing or a better priced model overall.

@Supermuffins

no. you can do more with 1000 pc but dont forget you need a 1. monitor, mouse and keyboard. A pc will have better cooling/ventilation so it lasts longer than a laptop.. there pro and cons for owning a gaming laptop.. you just need to make a list and decide for yourself. A PC is stationary.. a laptop you can bring to your friends house etc.. It all depends on the specs also..@@abhinavsingh3228

@@haxgamer0918 look at it this way: if such a thing can detect that parts don't work together, then don't try. You can use it to eliminate builds that are definitely a bad idea. It doesn't specify if your build is (the most) optimal, you can still have bottlenecks you are not aware of. When your build seems compatible with one or more of these part pickers, you can use the advice from the video to post the build on a forum and ask if others have recommendations. If at least a few people think it's good, then it probably is. After that, you could wait for the next time parts are cheaper like when the next hardware generation releases and around holidays and black friday. Good luck!

This has made the concept soooo much easier for me. This is helpful as im currently looking for PC parts or even a pre built
I love how clearly you explained all of this. You did this WAY better than most of the pros who use all of these terms without even explaining them to the audience! This is so helpful for beginning builders like me! Thank you so so much.
Even though I already have 2 PCs that I built myself, this video was still very interesting, purely because of the nice way you explain it. +1 sub!
Subscribed and I learned more things! Second video I've watched (first was about monitors) and I'm feeling the "shade tree custom build bug" arising in me again since 2003! Your a great instructor on the basics!
Excellent! KEEP IT GOING! And keep the tech videos coming! I love what you are doing so far.
Amazing video, I learned way more about how to research PC components than I ever did watching the dozens of other tech tubers (their videos are good too, but they focus more on the building of the PC than teaching how to research the components).
Finally someone explained it clearly! Last computer I build bought was probably 10-15 years ago so I have started researching for computer for my son (and me) and I'd like to be able to run games including new ones but also do things like programming, video or photo editing and streaming. Thank you very much !

Same here, want to build a new PC, let´s make a little club! What do you think about the new Sockets and CPUs that are coming 2024? Do you think PC components will get cheaper or more expensive 2024? Right now it seems, the 13. generation i7 and i9 are very capable and cheaper than the 14. generation, thou the price difference isn´t that huge (EU). The RTX 3080ti had 18% less points on the Benchmarks than the RTX 4070ti, but the 3080ti is also 250€ cheaper.

@@Leveleup543 I think we're going to have a jump in technology again this year. We have DDR5 memory already which is a step up. i also read the latest high performance hardware will get new technology software that uses AI to 'sort out' the information flow before being processed, optimizing and thus boosting performance. Aside from that, the newest games and programs ask a lot more from hardware than in the past few years, and consoles are getting ready for next gen games, so new pc hardware needs to keep up to stay competitive.
Please do more Tech videos, your exceptionally very good in explaining things in detail bro.

I always wanted to build a PC for rendering and It's confusing to see PC building videos. This is the most useful video I have ever seen. This resolved my doubts
You missed a key detail in picking up a CPU for rendering purposes, particularly for video editing in programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro. The thing is, you should never buy the "F" variant of Intel CPUs because the iGPU that it's missing also contains media engines that are actually superior to even Nvidia's, they are covered under the "QuickSync technology" label and they make the general navigation of the timeline much smoother.

At the CPU's at the gaming pc, it's not just all about the single core performance. For example, ryzen 7 7800x3d is way lower as single core performance, but actually is the best cpu for gaming, bcs of 3D cache.

This is the most useful video I’ve (personally) seen on KZread about this topic 😁
Thanks for the video. This helped a ton and the absurdity of the intro reeled me in for exactly the type of video I’ve been searching weeks to find. Video after video explaining pc building. This was simplified and explained throughly enough that I can feel confident enough to not text my ex for help even though he was the one who introduced the concept to me and urged me to get rid of my Mac and build a pc so that I can render faster animations. it was a great flame to get me started. But now here we are after a drunk phone call and a frozen computer about to erase 5 days worth of work. I’ll need to start saving money but I appreciate the help with the research brother!
The cpu selecting tip is pretty bad tbh, since AMD x3d cpus don't have the best single core performance but the 7800x3d does beat the 14900k in gaming.
