확실히 인텔 기본 초코파이 쿨러 보다는 많이 화려해졌군요 근데 모터가 최대 RPM 이 생각보다 높네요? 기존 인텔 초코파이 는 2500 언저리였는데 그마만큼 쿨링 성능도 기본보다 좋아진게 체감이 있으신가요?

hey do i mount up this cooler with the cable always facing on top so i can plug it easier ? and is the pre apply thermal paste need to be in a good angle facing like a ligne and not left to right when puting the cooler ?

When installing the Intel stock cooler, you can install it in any direction you want.(I choose the direction of the cooler cable to look neat.) The direction of the applied thermal paste also does not need to be much considered separately.

I'm sticking to the cinebench R23 load because I'm considering a real load test. (In the case of prime95, I'll put more load on the CPU than I need. I don't think there's much to do with CPU for general use purposes like this.)

The RGB LED operates with the motherboard 5v DRGB header. You can control it using RGB program on your motherboard.

Hi, Is the 12th gen i9 and 13th gen i9 stock fan the same? I would like to use my i3 12100f processor with one of these (preferably a 13900f fan) instead of its stock fan. Will it make a difference, thank you

The stock coolers offered in the 12th and 13th generations are the same and vary by i3 / i5 / i9. The noise is definitely quieter than the stock cooler provided on the i3.

By default, only LGA1700 sockets are supported, and additional socket brackets are not included.

For the 13400, the Laminar RM1 cooler is provided.

If your motherboard does not have an ARGB header, you can get a USB 2.0 controller or a button-type (SATA power) controller separately to control RGB.

@@enoiseh Button type is usually placed near the power supply. You can install it in a place that is easy to access. As far as I know, the USB type works as a separate software.

In the case of RM1, operating noise was loud from 2000 RPM, but in the case of RH1, it was definitely quieter than RM1.

Does the RH1 fit in the NR200P case??

This cooler is small enough to fit any case really. The NR200P has plenty of room for a way bigger cooler.

@@eplugplay8409 I'm putting that same CPU in a much smaller case with the RH1 Cooler. I'm also undervolting, delidding, putting liquid metal on the die, putting the lid back on and using IC Diamond for paste. I'm only doing all this because I'm using the RH1 in a small case and possibly want to Turbo Boost. The NR200P on the other hand has way more room. You should check out other/bigger/better coolers to get down the road if you can't afford right now. That case is able to fit coolers up to 155mm in height, though I've seen people online say they've put bigger coolers than that in it. There's plenty of good/cheap options for that height clearance.

@@eplugplay8409 Also, the RM1, which is the shorter cooler, is the only 1 that comes with anything under an i9 iirc, so you'd have to pay for the RH1 used/open box if you're getting an i7. I don't know if you plan on overclocking but if so, remember to get a Z series board and the K series processor, and with the size of that case, definitely get a larger cooler. If you're only getting the 14700 (non-K) and aren't overclocking/using turbo boost, you should be fine with a B series board and the RM1/RH1 cooler.

@@Person.aMedia right now I’m running a i5 12600k with a cooler master hyper 212 black and I heard this heatsink is not enough to cool an i7 14700k cpu. I found at my local store a i7 14700 non k version with this rh1 heat sink for $369.99, so been thinking about it. My hyper 212 black is a big heatsink and not sure why people say this wouldn’t work well?

Will the RH1 cooler work well with an i5-13600KF?

I don't think it's suitable for just using it. The PL1/2 limit must be set to a significantly lower value.

@@DalraeMyo please do not keep a axe on me) i ment only the box xooler is very-0very very!!! veryyy bad!!! the hot air flows and hits right the ram gpu backplate and the mos (((( the best option is to use the tower type coolers- this is what intel should do instead of the current fans ((((

Top-down CPU coolers are not good for airflow compared to tower coolers. This is a correct opinion. However, top-down coolers have a low height, which is inevitably used in certain ITX and SFF systems build. (Of course I don't mean Intel Stock Cooler is good!) @@mitofun6967
