My dad's claim payment was FIRST delayed by asking us documents in parts . Like almost every 15 days one or the other documents were asked. They prolonged this for 3 months.. ( they thought we would get tired and stop following up ). later they rejected saying , " the patient might have had past history ". As per the discharge report. We just filed a case , ( MIGHT MEANS PROBABILITY , ITS NOT 100%SURE ) AND WON AFTER 3 MONTHS . 1 lac ka policy tha 1.8 lac ka bil tha Chup chap de Diya hoto to 1 lac se bhi kam dena hota... Par Masti thi un logo ko Harrass kiya hume Isliye judge me 1.8 lac +, interest aur harrasment ka sab milake 2.13 lac ka Claim pass karaya..

Insurance Samadhan is an awesome body, they are very trustworthy, I had a case of 3lacs policy fraud and mis selling. This Insurance Samadhan helped me and i got all my money back.

Great initiative by LLA, I had faced similar situation during my mother's surgery but I had managed somehow to recover the money. I feel many people like me face similar situation and LLA has taken such a nice initiative for helping and making people JAAGRUK. Thanks a lot RJ sir, Mandeep sir and entire LLA team for this.

Bro which policy to take, for my mother if she fell I'll and have to do a surgery and need a big amount.

Problem partial rejection ka bhi nahi hai. Problem hai ye ki un companies ko pata hai wo aise unethical methods ko use kar sakte hain. They don't have any fear.

Unlike other youtube channels..you people actually help others n educate all in these issues that we faces in actual life..thank you..

They charge 12% commission on the entire claim amount + GST. Now that's a massive non-disclosure.

I must thank the LLA team, I've personally gained good insights into money and related matters over a course of the past 3 years and on the way become a aware citizen.

You guys are doing wonderful job. The insurance sector is a big scam in India. It needs to be cleaned. These type of awareness will surely open eyes of many people

One suggestion can you pick up actual live cases that received claim/rejection or ended up in court. This will be very learning series for everyone pf us to understand how practically things work! I think no one shows on KZread real life such examples ❤️

HDFC rejected my term insurance purchase on medical grounds. Even after my physician said there’s nothing serious. They will got give you policy if you’re honest with them because they need to find a reason to reject your claim.

Well aisa mere father k sath bhi hua tha or unka claim rok liya gaya tha but mere father khud bhi ek lawyer hai and unhone company pe case kr diya jo ki wo district court se jeet bhi gaye but company ne ab wo case ki appeal high court main ki hai and waha bhi kafi chances hai k hum log jeet jayege and mere father bhi bol rahe hai k ab shyd wo supreme court nhi jayege and agar gaye to waha bhi unke jeetne k chances kam hai to please agar kabhi koi insurance company aise claim ka ek bhi paise rok le to aap ek acche lawyer se consult kare otherwise ye companies fraud kar ke nikal jaati hai and suffer common logo ko karna hota hai

The best way or approach is to get a corporate health insurance or Retail Health Insurance(non-corporate) for yourself and your family, ideally through Insurtech platforms such as Healthysure, they make sure that all the claims passed is processed if valid and reduce the amount of partial claims passed by about 95%. Getting one directly through Insurance agencies leads to a lot of confusion as you might not be aware of all the clauses and might not understand the benefits properly.

Maxlife have messed up our claim. I am asking them to give proposal form to check the real nominee but they are denying giving absurd reasons. Should I go to consumer court?

Bro, need one suggestion. When I bought term insurance in 2018, I was not drinking wine/beer but now I occasionally consume. I asked my insurer to add alcohol consumption to my policy but they denied. What should I do ? Should I buy new policy considering that I have lost the money with insurer?

I had faced similiar condition, then I mailed my HR, putting my manager and greivance officer of insurance company in CC. And it got approved very next day. 😂

This practice is usually done by Private insurance companies.. go for Govt Insurance Company, no such deduction will be made..

Happened with me on my corporate policy. I fought for it and got it settled. It’s an unlawful practise that claim companies follows. Sad thing is that in my case culprit was not the company but was the Tpa who rejected this amount.

Insurance samadhan will definitely have 15 commision on the other hand policy bazaar is doing it for free .but policy bazaar will not give u any promotion money

90% partial rejection is too much. It is borderline fraud. Thanks for bringing this up. Shame on such malpractices of insurance companies. Where is the accountability?

IRDAI should mandatory for Insurance companies to publish about their Partial Claim and Full Claim Settlement Ratio Statistics which help the buyer before purchasing any health insurance policy.

Same problem i faced when my mother was hospitalized. I couldn't understand the same others category thing. I got very angry with the fact that the others category had the most money in it. When i called them up, they came up with different excuses each and every time. I was confirmed they were fooling us. Stil, i kept all the paperworks, did all things possible, they promised they will be giving the rest of the money (sort of). But then, 1.5 years have passed, till date nothing has happened. I only got some 20 - 25 % of the hospital bill cost. Thats why sort of felt like health insurance are of no use. But then i came across this video.
