So good to see another big job finished and the smile on your face Nate. Bet those cute baby chicks loved being outside. Looked like another great meal Katie!
So proud of you, Nate. You are doing an amazing job, for you guys! That's awesome!
KATIE, Make sure Nate takes photos of where all the outlets and switches are BEFORE they drywall. They get accidently covered up ALL the time!!!😮😢🎉😊

I took photos of every room :) We should be all set.
Great progress, cute chickens & yummy cooking! Thanks for sharing! Blessings to all 🤗💜🇨🇦
The sound difference after the rockwool is amazing! And seriously - I think you should live in this house for a while after all the work you've put into it so you can enjoy the fruits of your labor!
It was the most satisfying journey, I waited all the updates and so happy for you!
For future reference, you just have to cut a slice and tuck the wires in. The rockwool forms around the wires.
Hey Nate and Katie. My hubby and I have been watching your channel since early on and have watched your progress on the property and are amazed. You guys have no idea how much you inspire us with all the hard work you've been doing to restore the old farmhouse. The fact that you do most of the work yourself is awesome. We look forward to the next video. 😊

Thank you Lynn, that makes us so happy to hear. We appreciate it and are o happy that our journey has helped someone else along the way!
Great job Nate ❤
Bravo! You did it! Soon enough all this work is going to be behind you! 🤗 On to another project 😉
Winston is so very cool...and he love you, Nate.
Great job! Now take a few days to recoup.
good job Nate
Lots of extra expense to insulate internal walls...good job on finishing! The baby birds are growing so fast and that gray one Katie had was really pretty. Katie is such a good cook! Love the dogs too.
Nice work Nate. Glad to see all your perseverance pay off
Looks good Nate! You are one hard working fellow. Glad that Katie has such good yummy meals for you at the end of the day. You guys have really been hard at it since you landed on the property. I hope after the sheetrock is up you can chill for a day or so before you go after things again. Maybe you can chill while the sheetrockers are busy at work. You need to enjoy yourself a bit from time to time.....and when done with the house down the road you can kick back in evenings a bit and just look at all of it and beam with pride. Love how Katie cooks up all kinds of good sounding things. That is a talent! You both work so hard and I can't wait to see how you finish up in the home. It's going to be beautiful!
You both have done so much ,really proud of what you've accomplished!

Yoo Hoo! Light at the end of the tunnel! Well Done my Friends!
Good evening Nate and Katie
Absolutely loved the smile with the picture. Well done you!!!
Closer and closer….congratulations
Great job, Nate. Now take a look back at what you have accomplished....isn't that a great sight !!!!! The very worst is over and it is downhill from here...I think. It wouldn't be for me because I absolutely hate painting. But saying that, get yourself a good spray gun and spray paint the whole house inside. That is what the contractors do and it will be done in much less time. Have a Blessed day. Katy, I'll bet you are enjoying getting in the kitchen to cook in the big oven. All that delicious bread..YUM.
I’m really glad you’re hiring out the drywall cause you need some rest! Quality of sound difference was amazing 👍 when I needed to do something to my dogs that I knew they wouldn’t like I would do whatever to get them very physically tired, then we’d sit down in the grass and I’d brush, pull burrs, cut mats out, trim nails, etc. they had a collar with leash attached and we’re not allowed to leave until I was done (although if tired enough they were usually happy to lay there and sleep). I had a Samoyed mix and Husky mix so I can relate!

We try to wear him out but he runs away and is so strong. Winston hates any type of spray or clippers...it is a slow process of as much as he will tolerate at a time.
Great job!
Great job Nate!!
Nate, So professional looking. That tuna sandwich looked sooo good 👍
Exciting, drywall in no time.
Yes how cool ...starting to look like it will be, your open home planning look and also with the lowest sound level all around😊 and loved the song you used in the video...kkkk...made me want to dance ...I love dancing 💃 good dancing rhythm
Quality of sound difference was amazing and the rolls and focaccia looked delicious. The little chicks are not so little anymore haha, they are beautiful though. Glad the insulation is done. Have a lovely day.
What an amazing job! I know y'all are happy being this much closer to complete.
GREAT job, Nate! You are such a determined hard worker!

So glad you finished with the drywall Katie food looked really good Chick's are getting big
Well done!
I've seen people slice the width of the insulation in half, leaving half on one side of the wire and the other half on the other side of the wire.
Glad your done. Looking forward to new videos. Good job. Take care from Cape Cod Massachusetts ✌️❤️🇺🇸
Looks great Nate! I bet that makes a huge difference in the house already!
You can just cut a line into rock wool for wire instead of cutting all the way thru. Looks good
Hi, Sending encouragement from Australia. Keep going, the best is yet to be. K🐨
Love the tunes in this one! =D
Wow you both are so awesome 👏🏽 it’s going to be so beautiful when you are done ✅

Wow Nate looks like Rock wool is your jam! The sound deadening is evident in the sound quality! Katie the food looks delicious, Lol as the cook I have been in the same situation, happy when you make it, sad when it’s gone! The insulation looks great and such a huge improvement in sound! Great job! Congratulations! As soon as you get all that you need done for drywall you can go outside and play again! The puppies miss you! 👏👏👏😁
Well done Nate. Horrid job but will make such a difference to the house.

It is so different, I cannot hear him anymore when he is in the other room...its lovely. ;)
If you want to have Winston's hair clipped for summer, try asking for a turtle cut. They may not understand what you mean! I was a groomer for 30 years and I would do this cut on farm dogs and gt. Pry. I tell you it looks silly but it works great! I would shave the legs and chest and about 1/3 up the body. The coat on the back I would rake and thin out a bunch. The longer hair on the back protects from sun burn and heat. While the short hair cools them and stays cleaner. Expect it to cost more then a simple shave job because it's a lot more work. Yes it's better for the coat if you don't clip it at all. But a great Pyrenees is not bread to live where the heat and humidity is as high as it is where you are.
not sure but when petting Winston (on the side that the camera was showing) it looked like he had a huge tick! I could be wrong but can't hurt to look. Don't want the good boy to get sick
Great job! I've been watching your house project since the beginning and I can say that you accomplished a lot. Keep the good job and video. Big hug for all of you from Portugal.

Youre doing a great job on your home
I hate working with insulation but the green rockwool is by far the easiest for me to work with.. and i got some good r value in the off grid airbnb cabin we have listed..and yea good going on filling in the wire gaps cuz any little gaps or holes can hurt your r value
So wondervar! Now get some rest before the next step.
👏👏👏👏

great job and yes lots of work hugssssss
🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️😃👍🏻
Now that you have experience with rockwool, I bet you will never go back to fiberglass. When insulating for sound on interior walls, It easier to just slice through the rockwool and push it onto the wire rather than cutting an actual strip out. Do you not have building inspections by the way? Just curious how it works down there. Cheers from PA. You all are rockin it!!
Hi, thank you for teaching me thst if I ever work with insulation that has no covering, I will have to wear something on top of my clothes to protect me from the itchy particles. Also, for my own info. What's the purpose of insulating every wall if you will have a heating system throughout the house. Won't that be enough? Or is the heating system only in a particular area of the house? I need to know for my individual educational purpose. One day I would like to own my own home and the only wall I would build wound be for my master suite and guest bedroom. Other than that it will be open concept.
I wish you'd worn a mask and suit for the rock wool also. Please from now on you the protectants.
Great job it always feel good when it's done. Tell Katie now I want Mac & Cheese. Love from Virginia

Job well Done Nate!!!💪🏽.. Do ya Hope to be in the house by Xmas ? Or sooner ?
You guys havent seen anything yet. South is hot!
🐕🐕
What about the ceiling aka attic and the floor ?
You don't have to insulate closets lol take a shower and have an early night sometimes!!!!🥰🙏💕

R38 in the rafters. There is already some laying on the ceilings of R15 but we will likely replace it all because of the termite and mouse damage to it, peace of mind.
Are you going to give them a heat lamp at night?
Sorry there's a oops to my comment to wrong person I'm not the person with cancer comment!
Don't wash those itchy clothes with others they will all be itchy lol lots of scratching. Ha ha
