For future reference, you just have to cut a slice and tuck the wires in. The rockwool forms around the wires.

Hey Nate and Katie. My hubby and I have been watching your channel since early on and have watched your progress on the property and are amazed. You guys have no idea how much you inspire us with all the hard work you've been doing to restore the old farmhouse. The fact that you do most of the work yourself is awesome. We look forward to the next video. 😊

Looks good Nate! You are one hard working fellow. Glad that Katie has such good yummy meals for you at the end of the day. You guys have really been hard at it since you landed on the property. I hope after the sheetrock is up you can chill for a day or so before you go after things again. Maybe you can chill while the sheetrockers are busy at work. You need to enjoy yourself a bit from time to time.....and when done with the house down the road you can kick back in evenings a bit and just look at all of it and beam with pride. Love how Katie cooks up all kinds of good sounding things. That is a talent! You both work so hard and I can't wait to see how you finish up in the home. It's going to be beautiful!

Great job, Nate. Now take a look back at what you have accomplished....isn't that a great sight !!!!! The very worst is over and it is downhill from here...I think. It wouldn't be for me because I absolutely hate painting. But saying that, get yourself a good spray gun and spray paint the whole house inside. That is what the contractors do and it will be done in much less time. Have a Blessed day. Katy, I'll bet you are enjoying getting in the kitchen to cook in the big oven. All that delicious bread..YUM.

I’m really glad you’re hiring out the drywall cause you need some rest! Quality of sound difference was amazing 👍 when I needed to do something to my dogs that I knew they wouldn’t like I would do whatever to get them very physically tired, then we’d sit down in the grass and I’d brush, pull burrs, cut mats out, trim nails, etc. they had a collar with leash attached and we’re not allowed to leave until I was done (although if tired enough they were usually happy to lay there and sleep). I had a Samoyed mix and Husky mix so I can relate!

If you want to have Winston's hair clipped for summer, try asking for a turtle cut. They may not understand what you mean! I was a groomer for 30 years and I would do this cut on farm dogs and gt. Pry. I tell you it looks silly but it works great! I would shave the legs and chest and about 1/3 up the body. The coat on the back I would rake and thin out a bunch. The longer hair on the back protects from sun burn and heat. While the short hair cools them and stays cleaner. Expect it to cost more then a simple shave job because it's a lot more work. Yes it's better for the coat if you don't clip it at all. But a great Pyrenees is not bread to live where the heat and humidity is as high as it is where you are.

Now that you have experience with rockwool, I bet you will never go back to fiberglass. When insulating for sound on interior walls, It easier to just slice through the rockwool and push it onto the wire rather than cutting an actual strip out. Do you not have building inspections by the way? Just curious how it works down there. Cheers from PA. You all are rockin it!!

Hi, thank you for teaching me thst if I ever work with insulation that has no covering, I will have to wear something on top of my clothes to protect me from the itchy particles. Also, for my own info. What's the purpose of insulating every wall if you will have a heating system throughout the house. Won't that be enough? Or is the heating system only in a particular area of the house? I need to know for my individual educational purpose. One day I would like to own my own home and the only wall I would build wound be for my master suite and guest bedroom. Other than that it will be open concept.
