I know people thought 1 hour is too long but a single game is way too short
I love these vids, although I prefer the longer ones

Started playing chess 3 months ago. Found your channel and have climbed from 600 to 980 elo. Your content is golden, keep it up.
Love the vids, I don't mind the longer format but these are also cool!
The most eagerly awaited for series on the internet for me right now along with puzzle island. Congratulations Nelson on the one hundred plus win streak.
Great videos, great learning!!
Nice video! It is very simple the way you show how you think. Thanks!
I think 2 games per video is optimal for video length. So if you have the time for 2 games, that would be great!
Excellent job, mate! Thanks for the amazing content ❤
Totally loving this series. Never tried the Ponziani-Steinitz Gambit before and after some analysis, I don't think I will. White shouldn't take the knight, but play Bxf7+, which seems to present all sorts of problems for black.
I'm really loving these videos! It's sad they don't make as much money when 48 minutes long, because I learn a lot from them! I hope you can keep posting!
Can you make these videos so much longer please
Loving this series - 30 mins for the video length is the sweet spot imo
Even though the engine doesn't like Qd3, thank you especially for bringing this kind of move back in my mind. Block the pawns to prevent development.
Good analysis+ explanation 😮 gg
2:17 Nb4 protects the queen and threatens the fork
Yeah some longer vids with analysis is nice
I really don't get the commenters' fixation on video length. For every person who asks for shorter videos, there is another who asks for longer; and neither considers that creators have schedules and lives, too. IMO Nelson, just do whatever length works best for you. At the end of the day, you have SO many great videos, anyone can just pause or keep watching as they please. Thanks for the fantastic content!

@@mythbusters866 Not to play hope chess, but remember that according to Stockfish Stafford gambit is really awful, in practice even Hikaru had trouble against it and he played someone I think half his rating
Hey dude, loving this series so far. Is it possible for any of us viewers to take part in this speedrun too as the lower rated players?
watched your previous video on the rating climb, played a chess game after that and won!
Excellent video!
At any point from 10:19, have you considered sacrificing the rook on g3? The h-pawn has to take and the passed pawn seems to be very strong. It seems to work already if the light-squared bishop was on the long diagonal.
After inducing g3 another approach would have been taking the pawn with the idea of Rook takes g3 due to the f pawn being pinned by the bishop followed by pushing the h pawn and putting the bishop on the diagonal
Play the grub opening for white when you play white next.

I was beaten by an 1100 yesterday. I'm gonna consider this game to be like my lil brother getting revenge for me! Haha Cheers Nelson. Great checkmate 👍
Try out the french defense, would love to see that played
Can you do a video with your favorite or most well known opening?
The next time this comes up would you play a Rousseau Gambit? It’s a fairly simple gambit and I would love to see what you’d be able to do with it.
Yeah, those blunders and misses are costly for sure! But even here, where the opponent played that inaccuracy, which doesn’t look bad. However, it turned into a bad move. Dang, I guess I have a lot to learn than just not making blunders and missing tactics, gotta not have bad inaccuracies either 😬

White can run fom that, he can check the king with one rock then run thee other
The videos are improving
Second, Being the first is easy but time it for the second, thats the real deal.

It's like a gambit.
I miss the one hour videos 😢 please bring them back
How do i keep focus in 10min games i get bored if game is over 3min time control
Please do longer videos its very interesting 😅
11:22 you could of taken the bishop with the knight and after rook takes you have a fork with bd4
I'd love to see the main line defense against the fried liver attack!
You should try the b5 line of the fried liver.
Forty four seconds left on the clock. Many Nelson should take a course on time management. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Yes, I did just watch that video.
10:19 I was expecting Bxc4 Nc3 Rxc3 Bxc3 Bxf1
Opponent was TILTED XD
Whats the app called? I want to play it too
Awesome 🙏😎🙏😁😎😁👍😁🙏
You had a beautiful mating net if you played bxc4 instead of bg4 at the end there, then sacrificing the rook with rxg3 to force mate in 2/3 with h2+, bd5# if he takes the rook or bd5# if he doesn’t. Even if he sees it and moves the rook the king is in a mating net as bxc4 blocks the escape square and you can promote your h pawn to mate him that way instead

Maybe it can be stopped by nc3 though?

Bxc4, Kxc4, then what? Also how can you play bd5 if there's a pawn there?
NelSon We want The 30Min long videos They are perfect no longer or shorter
Nelson do u play at ur level too?
No music at the end?
Longer Format are the best
I have a question, if you take so long to move why don’t you play 15 min games
Your most recent video comes up as "private" titled something like !00% accuracy and I still lost.
I could watch for over 3 hours this type of video. Please try Legals Mate, the guys at this level can easily fall for it.
My suggestion is you start a cycle of videos with 1 game (15min), 2 games (30), and 4 or 5 games (1hr). If you want to please all types of viewers. Still more shorter videos but sprinkle in the long ones
At 6:10 you could have gone Kf3+ and won the undefended queen
@iamgoosedog2698

no because the queen would just take
Nice job there But why your videos length are shrinking ?! 😂 Please make them a bit longer . Maybe at least 2 games for 1 video
Watching cause of the thumbnail. Kawaiii
The weirder the thumbnail, the most intensive the game
11:10 white is 5min more Clock and play stupid move
maybe 2 games?
make 1 hours video
Love from Pakistan ❤
I feel nelson takes too much time to play having only a minute after 20 moves is awful time managment players at high level will take advantage of that
@junkgum

Elo's low enough for him to bullet away a win.
The long vids were better
I like the shorter ones or intermediate ones 15 minutes maybe 20 minutes at most but I will love all your videos especially your storyline I look forward to that every 2 or 3 days I finally beat a 1500 bot but I suck at playing real people
