I made this in my Vortex. I had no trivet and these a came out perfectly! (Jumbo eggs.) I can never seem to peel eggs, and this worked so well. 17min, 260, 9 min rest, 5 min ice bath, peel. Awesome! Thank you.

I did this, I have a double trivet because I want to do a 18 eggs at once, a few of my eggs burst. Is it because I have too many eggs in there?

I haven't tried without the trivet, but I think you do need something for the eggs to be on. I don't know if just the tray would work.

I have the exact same oven style vortex air fryer oven and mine didnt come with the trivet

@@nunyabusiness1344 I decided to try this today and it worked! I just did two eggs with the shelf in the middle position. The eggs were perfect. Same instructions in the video - 16 minutes at 260, let stand 5 - 10 min, then 5 min ice bath.

Use the basket. It works great. Just don’t rotate. Air fry only.

It's the kind of eggs they are - Heritage eggs. The chicken lay blue eggs!
