Instant Pot Nashville Hot Chicken & Rice
Written Recipe: pressureluckcooking.com/insta...
If you've ever tried Nashville hot chicken, you are aware it's amongst the most spicy and fiery of all chicken dishes. This sauce is no joke (and will make you want an icy coke). Drawing on Arroz con Pollo, I felt I could take that idea and marry it with a Nashville hot sauce that we'll whip up in no time. Once married together, you'll get a one-pot Nashville Hot Chicken & Rice and, my friends, it is oh so nice and loaded with spice! But if it's a more mild hot sauce you seek, check out Jeff's Tips in the recipe card below.

Don’t worry Jeffery. You keep cooking and we’ll keep watching.
OMG! I totally had a brain blunder and made a reference to Beale Street being in Nashville when, in fact, it’s in Memphis! I meant no disrespect with this honest mistake as I’ve spent time in Memphis and Nashville and both are amazing cities ;)

It was cute! I live in Nashville and enjoyed the laugh. Love ya Jeffrey!
I love your recipes for the spice combinations. Leave bland behind, go flavour!
Nice one Jeff love the books
I ordered your book and it was on sale.. immediately after watching this video and just finished the meal. OMG it's amazing. I left out the cayenne and heat is perfect. Meat is so tender. Can't wait to try more and get your other books. Thank you.

Wonderful! So glad you enjoyed and honored you got the book!
I have been making this since I found it in the cookbook. Love love love it.
Loved this one from the book. I like spice so i ramped up on Cayenne
Just very engaging❤
I'm happy to see your IP creation Jeffrey! Bless your heart 🎉
I made this before! It's delicious~
Absolutely
Beale street is in Memphis, but looks delicious!
Jeffrey. Love your channel and this is a winner. I know you said Beale St but that is in Memphis, TN and not Nashville. Regardless, this would be proudly served on any southern table. Thank you for sharing.
I always trust your taste buds! 🥵🤤😋
I'm doing lo carb, so I may try this with quinoa.
I do not do hot and spicy sauce, but this would be good add asian sauce to it.
Jeffrey, I have the Instant Pot RIO, 7-in-1. Will your recipe books include this Instant Pot model?
Stroll down Broadway? Beale St is in Memphis! 😂
Could use your fav bar b que sauce
Would this work with brown rice? If so, any adjustments needed? Like more broth?
A pesky Grow Account pops up to sign up for before we can print your recipe. Jeffery, please look into this.

Sorry. It’s how I make a living. And is zero cost to you so I can provide you with free recipes that I spend lots of time, testing and money on. And the grow account subscribes you to my newsletter which is also free. The only time you’d need the grow account is if you wish to print my recipe which, again, is free ;)
What size IP are you using? I have a 3qt, so what adjustments do I need to make?

Cut everything by 1/3-1/2 depending on the starchiness of the ingredients. With this particular recipe you can start with the higher amount and cut back if you are having problems with it sputtering starchy debris with the steam during release. This particular recipe travels and reheats well if you want to do the prep work for a full recipe and then cook it in batches.
What kind (or brand) of chili powder are you using? It looks like black pepper.
Does the hot sauce get better if you mix it up and leave it in the fridge overnight?
I love spicy, but your look makes me think I would go low on the cayenne! Would love to have seen Richards reaction!
How much time if I wanted to use brown rice?
I can't wait to try out this recipe Jeffrey! I've been following your channel since you started and you never disappoint. I have one comment though. Every jar of minced garlic that I have used says on the label that one half teaspoon is equivalent to one clove of garlic, therefore one tablespoon will be equal to six cloves in total. Just an observation. I have loved all of the recipes that I have made of yours. Take care!
Wow, 1 TBSP cayenne!!! Lol. That will be hot/spicy. I like spicy, but that would be too hot for me, lol
Woah, your face got a little red after that first bite! Hottttttttt 🌶️🌶️
Looks delicious! Now try it with crawfish. 😁
In that one bowl with 3 spices, you said paprika, garlic powder and chili powder. That third one looked like black pepper. What did i miss?

Beale St is in Memphis, not Nashville. 😂
Sounds like this belongs in Texas rather than Nashville!

3 mins for rice? No way is that properly cooked

High pressure takes 3 minutes to cook rice. Works every time for me.

It would not be all the way cooked at 3 minutes if you did a quick release. But when you let it natural release for 10 minutes adds more cook time. This way is the best
way to much garnish, lol. Looks great tho
