Omg your daughter is soo cute!! Her big smile when she was done..adorable! It’s so good to see kids embrace the love of their natural hair from early. Growing up for me it was the opposite..my mom didn’t want to be bothered doing my hair so I had to deal with the hot comb on the stove, Dax grease, the burn marks on the ear or the back of the neck just to get straight hair...Then the kiddie perm came next..it was easier for them but not good for us. I’m happy with my locs..no perms, wigs or braids for me. As for my son he had locs but he wanted to cut them off but if he ever wants them back we will start it for him.

I can’t wait to see how your twins locs progress. I’ve had mine for six years and I’m still enjoying my journey.

Oh my gosh, this is SO BEAUTIFUL !!! Brings tears of joy to my eyes; everytging from how you gave her barbie doll locs, her seeing that and loving the look, in a way loving and embracing her natural heritage, seeing mommy and daddy's hair and being aware that it IS beautiful, so that the world's point of view and ignorance to locs and natural hair styles won't even phase her ... man, you got me all up in my feels. Lol I just had a lil boy (he is a month and 6 days) and his daddy and i both have locs. I'm going to grow his hair out and let him decide when he can talk if he wants locs or not. But i feel like when he sees mommy and daddys locs all the time, he'll want his own beautiful set. 🥰 Thanks for sharing this beautiful journey with us. God bless you and your family. 🙏🏿💙

My just turned 2 this past weekend. Lol I styled his hair with finger coils and I was thinking hmmm maybe I should loc his hair 🤔🤔 but I wasn’t sure if that was too young.
