Hello Ruby, I am from south India and we make the same pickle it is called mango thokku😀 the only difference is we do not add black seeds and saunf and we cook the shredded mango till it releases oil and it becomes soft , sometimes we add some jaggery in the last as well .😀

I made this achaar today and it was a yumm! I must say you are my digital ammi 😂 i learned a lot from you and praised by everyone
