A machine that turns liquid soda in frozen slushy before your very eyes!

Pretty sure the cooler was set to just above freezing. Tipping it upside-down releases carbonation to keep enough pressure, the machine is a small anti-griddle, aka a cold plate, meant to drain just a little more heat out of the liquid. At that point, the pressure is what's keeping it from freezing. Once you crack the top, the pressure is released and the ice crystals start to form.

For anyone who wants to try this, you can do this at home. If you set a drink in the freezer for several hours and avoid moving it or jostling it at all, it may go into a supercooled state - the temp of the liquid has dropped below freezing, but it hasn't actually become ice yet. To activate the freezing process, simply tap the bottle on something. And now you have a slush! Works for bottled water too, but it has to be pretty pure, tap water won't work.

@bratzboyz

@@Bos_Meong Well...$1000 a month is nothing now. The median price for a home is $299,000 (a fixer-upper type), for a vehicle is $35,000 (most likely preowned/ used)...and if you plan to pay rent, you'll be out-of-pocket $2799 a month before 'utility' bills (also, if you plan to rent an apartment you have to make at least three-times the monthly rent payment to qualify for said apartment). Also, a burger with fries and a drink is now $30, groceries for a month will put you back about $890 (depending on where you shop), and to fill-up the tank of gas in your car it will cost you $4.69 a gallon. So...if you make $1000 a month, you'll be on the street, living in the sewers and eating out of the dumpsters.

The bottles in the fridge are supercooled. It just means that if not disturbed the ice does not form. The light contraption she put the bottle in is there for no reason at all unless it vibrates. As she turned the bottle upside down and back up again, that started the process. The water in the drinks is very pure so needs to be kickstarted into freezing. Normally impurities in the water help seed the crystallisation of ice.

It's not that it's expensive in USA, the thing is that they have to keep lower prices in some countries or else no one will buy it as the drink may end up even more expensive than a regular meal.
@viperdemonz-jenkins

@@MatLCF if it can be that cheap in another country, it can be here also. issue is government greed, creating high inflation and making our money not worth jack. it has been like this for decades and they always try to blame capitalism so the government can keep lining pockets.

expensive? but average american can make $1000 a month even by washing dishes no? You have to get a full education in asean country for that
@bratzboyz
14 күн бұрын
Come on USA...let's get this here. Fantastic 😊

@@mightyfilm That's too easy.. That's a machine that does everything for you on the cheap. They want to have to do all the labor to make it work and pay more for doing the work and making a mess. LOL It really is just a slurpee as you said but whatever. Other people's kids.. I swear....

I so love slushy!
Wow that looks so freaking good. Wish we had that here in the usa. Cheers.
Yay I'll be in BKK very soon. I love their 7-Elevens. They're pretty cute over there. Slushy will be nice for this summer.
Are theu just getting you to wait so it doesnt explode out of the bottle?

That’s really cool
I'd like to try a slushy coke sometime. Looks good!
WHY DIDN’T ANYONE TELL ME HOW SCIENTIFICALLY AMAZING THIS IS!?!?
I put my sodas in the freezers for about an hour. Take it out, tap it on the table then open it. Its really cool
As a Asian who live in Thailand, i can say that your must be lucky to found this machine because not a single 7-11 in my local have that machine(even my life doesn't found it once but judging from surrounding, i think it was at one of the following: puket, rayong, chonburee and chompron (sorry for worng pronunciations, i'm too busy to take a look how it actually wirte)
I had a normal coke do this by itself with no special prep once and It was amazing so getting all the time would be nice.

I believe you can do this by turning your drink over as demonstrated and placing it in your freezer for a (need to experiment) period of time. Long time ago there was a video of a similar type where the pop was poured into a dish and became a frosty (slurpee)
I want one of those!!!
As some NPCs in Pokémon once said, Technology is Amazing!
I can remember being able to occasionally getting a soda like this as a kid. The .51 price also seems like a time warp back to 1970.
I saw another KZread video from someone else in Japan that showed a similar option but was only available for regular Coke 'original taste', whereas for you in Thailand, there's more options, like Coke 'no sugar', Sprite, and even Fanta! I kinda want to try frozen Fanta Orange or Grape now if i can recreate the setup with my fridge at home. (Edit: I then searched KZread and realised it was a video from you)
For a person who gets soo immersed in your videos, I really do appreciate the fast-forward of the boring stuff
I need one of these in my house.
What a fantastic idea & thanks DancingBacons 🕺🥓😊👍
Put beer on that and keep drinking until you pass out in the store
Wish we had this in Japan!
“Reverse microwave! Makes thing cooler!”

Coca -Cola is one of my favorite drink, I like Coca-Cola.😊👍🥤
First time seeing that actually work.
I wish we had one of these where I am I would love to make my soda a slushie at times without having to stick it in the freezer for 3 hours then forget about it and freeze it
at some point i thought this was backroom 🤣
Isn't it the same effect than when you leave it in the freezer a little too long but take it out before it completely freezes? I've done if a few times lol

I've never tasted strawberry Fanta. Now, I want some!
We really are living in the future and i gotta say, it's never felt so COOL!
You can do this at home too. You just need to not disturb the drink and ideally a chest freezer. Then take it out and give it a shake or a squeeze to see it become slush.
Whoever designed that machine is a marketing genius!

The machine is doing nothing, the light does nothing. All it is.... is the fridge keeps the drink just barely at a temp above freezing, he taps it on the table and it freezes.

Me and my buddy use to do this with water bottles in Iraq. After a long day in 120f+ heat on our missions, we always looked forward to those slushy waters. Pull them out the freezer and give them a lil shake and they turn to slush in seconds 🤤.
😂😂😂 I felt like a kid again! 🙏
Fun fact, Every year Coca-cola makes and releases a limited run of Cola that is kosher. The only way to know the difference is by the yellow cap. This store has a plethora of them which is rare.
Ah yes! In America, we call that “The Soda Pop Slushy Time Machine”. Those things can fetch up to $10M.

How does the slushy soda thing work? Interesting
When this happens to a bottle of beer in the mini fridge it sucks because it goes flat.

Awsome machine! I want it imported to Korea
Can you use soda from the store or only have to be from the little fridge

The bottles in the fridge are supercooled. It just means that if not disturbed the ice does not form. The light contraption she put the bottle in is there for no reason at all unless it vibrates. As she turned the bottle upside down and back up again, that started the process. The water in the drinks is very pure so needs to be kickstarted into freezing. Normally impurities in the water help seed the crystallisation of ice.
