It's actually pretty cool. My family fosters children. There are quite a few troubles, as the children have usually been through quite a lot of awful stuff. But it's all really worth it in the end because you make a huge impact in the children's lives.

Anyone planning to adopt or foster might want to look into full history from both father and mother not just mother as it is sometimes a made up opinion not fact.

I'm a grown man but I've never laughed and cried at the same time watching a movie like i did in this one.. Such a great film.

by far one of the best movies i’ve ever watched. funny yet an instant tear-jerker. 11/10 recommend!

I was definitely only expecting some rose-colored, superficial version of what it's like, with clasic ridiculous problems made all better by a little bit of love. It was so much more realistic than I expected! Showing how hard it is, for the kids and the parents, how messed up many kids have gotten, how so many of the problems are going to haunt them forever, and why it's still truly worth it.

Hopefully the director knew that he had a master of accents on set and made ample use of his talents.

That's the funniest trailer I've seen in a while 😂😂😂 Can't wait for the movie.

This movie made me laugh hysterically and cry like a baby. Literally, my tears keeps on flowing. Perfect movie to watch, made me realize how important family in our lives. Thank you for the rollercoaster of emotions. Loved every second of the movie. "Sometimes it's difficult to accept love from someone when you're already burned out from the past, but you all need to have faith again because to love and being loved keeps us sane and grateful being alive."

This trailer doesn't even do justice to the movie. I recommend everyone to watch it. So pure and heart-warming.

If you ever adopted children out of a foster care system, this movie is for you. You will see your life on screen as we did. Absolutely loved it, and great casting. Loved seeing Joan Cusack.

Just watched again, I cried so hard, also one of the most replayable movies ever.

This was such a great movie! I was afraid that all the best parts were used in the trailer but after reading that it was based on a true story I knew it was going to be heartfelt and had potential to make me feel good. So great, really!!! I love this movie and all the people portrayed and all the actors who made up the cast. I recently saw Father Hood and The Secret: Dare to Dream; Hands down, this movie blew those away.

I was hesitant to spend money to see this movie but then I decided to just, try it out. I pulled my jeans up high and tight and much to my surprise within 4 strokes I was loving this movie. Bunz is the water champ, the personality champ, and now the big budget movie champ!

One of the best movies of our times. It talks about both the good and the bad sides of adoption and why we should adopt kids. Seriously it was worth it.

The most heartfelt movie ever.. Beside the story, amazing acting from almost everyone in the movie. I never thought about adopting a kid, and this movie definitely changed my mind. Well done everyone who involved in the movie.

Just watched this with my students. They should definitely make a no.2 where it's a prequel showing how these children's life was before meeting Ellie and Pete.

I cried real tears like 6 times. Very nice movie. Family love was overflowing. I admire people who adopt and love the kids as their own.

man this movie is great, i didn't think it was possible to do it with an idea as simple as this, but all the actors, directors, writers, and every other job i forgot about came together and made a great film

I never normally comment on anything but this was one of the best movies I’ve ever watched, comedy was on point, I was really invested in the characters and I never cry at movies but this one near the end I couldn’t stop crying major respect to everyone who took part in this movie

Being adopted I am so excited for this movie . I laughed and got tears just watching the trailer. They have great actors and actresses in this movie , I already know it will be amazing 💕. It also brings the topic of adoption up ! 💕

@@youssefmagdy7838 It is better to adopt when neither of the parents are alive, it is not good to adopt someone and call them your child and the child called you a parent when the real parents are still alive. That is why I dislike this movie, the mother was still alive but the Foster parents wanted the children for themselves and wanted the children to call them "mum" and "dad". I found that wrong. In my opinion, the Foster parents were been selfish.

@@TedEhioghae yeah but children aren't like three little State Fair gold fish your not gonna get attached to. Spending five months with three children and being expected to give them up like their a broken object isn't how it works if you didn't know. Some foster parents actually have feelings and can get attached quickly. This movie portrayed that amazingly. If you actually watched it thoroughly. And the excitement of being called mommy for the first time isn't something that all foster parents brush off like dust on their pants. And remember Ellie and Pete weren't experienced and as shown in the movie they weren't aware that the children they had gotten attached to get ripped away from them when they finally connected as a family. And also, it doesn't matter if the parents are alive. It's the question if their alive, and want their children, or if they are truly capable of caring for theur children. Not every parent gives a shit about their kids. The mother from the movie did, I could see it, but she wasn't capable. With her ongoing addiction that wasn't a good affect on her kids did it. Her daughter is taking nudes for a pedo and he son and youngest don't even want to be with her. Are you saying you want them to go back into that situation? Yes they were being selfish, but it's hard to be when the foster kids you fell in love with's mother pops out of no where. Be considerate of the entire families feelings. The children, the foster parents, and the mother

This movie really hit home, the older I get and more experiences I go through I just can't hold back my tears when it comes to these types of movies. I wish I could afford to take in all the kids/teens without a home and provide them a safe secure place to grow up :(
