For people with peanut allergies: Mixing 3 tablespoons of sun butter with 1/2 cup of soy butter will give you the perfect ratio for the right texture and flavour of an unsweetened peanut butter (You can add honey if you like it sweet to your taste) I discovered this last year and it changed my life because my wife and I are both allergic, I didn't used to be and was craving it something fierce. I call it pea-not butter because I think I'm clever.

You can add an egg in the ramen and microwave a bit to get the noodles softer and egg cooked. Try adding a slice of cheese in the broth and itll be cremier. If you ever go out to eat hotpot and you have left over soup, take it to go and add instant ramen to it for another meal.

So in Hawaii we fry cubed spam in the pot you are using to boil your water, and I add corn to that, in the empty bowl I add a mixture of aloha shoyu, sirracha, and Wasabi. I slice green onions and add that to the bowl. I add the spam and corn to bowl. I add water to the pot and bring it to a boil. Add packet of seasoning, add noodles stir gently till starting to come apart from block. Take noodles out of pot, break an egg directly into boiling water, turn heat down, and gently fold egg in hot water so it does not disintegrate. At desired cooking time, pour into bowl stir and enjoy

I like to add frozen veg, sometimes pieces of meat, then cook it on the stove. I can taste the styrofoam if I make it in the pkg. If someone is sick at home, I add dry ginger, some hot chili, turmeric & black pepper, & finally some mushroom essence. Growing up as a kid in a Japanese household, from my Mothers side. My Mother and her Mother (which is my Grandmother) are both Japanese. Gma being full blood and my Mother being a good 3 quarters. Both are from Okinawa, Japan (considered southern Japanese). They moved to the states when my Mom was about 4-5 years old. Anyways, with all that being said. I remember always as a kid no matter what time of the day or what day on the calendar, there was always always sticky rice cooked and being kept warm in a rice cooker. So you could easily help yourself to sticky rice literally whenever you wanted with seaweed and a hint of soy sauce. Take the seaweed and wrap up the rice and add just a bit of soy sauce, mmm mmm mmm sooo gooood. Ohhh I ate a TON of it too growing up 😅. Great snack and great memories as a child.
Really gotta try those broth techniques! The egg or the rice in there just sounds next level!

They do this because the ramen is too hot for the first few minutes. Putting it in the makeshift cup can cool it down faster and after you done eating the noodles there will be some soup left in the cup so you can slurp the already cooled soup. Not many people can drink the very hot soup directly from the bowl.

Literally how I ate ramen back in high school 😅
Another hack: if you make it in a small pot on the stove once you have fully cooked your ramen and adding your seasoning and oils and all of that, lower the heat and you can crack 2 to 3 eggs right in into the broth, make sure you have enough broth in there, you can mix the eggs of you like and just stir, or you can leave them whole, take a ladle and poor the hot broth right on top of the egg until slightly white and then start swirling the broth and noodles, basically you just poached the eggs in the broth with the noodles, once you feel like you’ve swirled enough cover the pot with a lid, take off the heat and let it sit so the egg can finish cooking to however you prefer your yolk, you’re welcome 😊 P.s. you can also do this in the microwave but you have less control over what is happening to egg 😂
