Installing Yamaha XSR700 front-end mods: fork covers, fork gaiters, sw-motech fender.
This is me installing some parts that I showed in a recent unboxing video. They all come together to make a nice, blacked out front-end on the XSR700. Yamaha OEM fork covers (for FZ07), EMGO fork gaiters and SW-MOTECH front fender. Also showing new Shinko 705 tires, purchased from and installed by a local shop (link below). Putting that stimulus money to work. Leave a comment and let me know if this helps you, and if you like the new look!

Love the gaiters you got, they look much beefier than the ones Yamaha offers! Thanks for sharing 👍

Thanks Buck! Right, I'm kind of spoiled with the roads here :) I'm based in Austria, pretty close to the German border!
Such a great video!! The tips and torque specs are well appreciated. 👌

Hi Buck, awesome set up, I love it! May I ask you where that headlight comes from? Is not the OEM one, is it? It looks shorter and nicer... or is it me going finally out of my head? :)

Why cant i just cut rhe gaiters open and wrap them around the forks instead of this process? Anyone know why it wont work?
Hello. I would like to know what the inner diameter of the gaiters is. Thank you.
Great Video. I'm looking to order the gaiters and the covers but I can't find the rivet/plastic screw. Could you please help me out?

Check the diagram for 2017 FZ07, under STEERING (not under FRONT FORK). Good luck. 👍🏼
Great video!!! I check out partzilla but I’m a bit confused on what part numbers do I get for the fork covers? Would just be 2 number 20s?

I think I gave the wrong part Zillow link. Try this one: www.partzilla.com/catalog/yamaha/motorcycle/2017/fz07-fz07hl-2017/steering. I think you need a part 20, 21 and two of the 23s.

@@heybuck6588 Ja quite nice. Not sure they sell them here in Europe but they looks gorgeous. Have you tried before? How many km have you done with them?.

I have only about 250km on them. I watched several reviews on KZread before buying and a couple guys at the tire shop had them on their personal bikes. I’m looking forward to putting a lot of miles on them.
is there supposed to be a rubber grommet or something at the top? seems to be a gap

You’re right there is a little gap. I slid the cover to the top after recording. Don’t know if there is supposed to be something to fill that gap.
🥰🥰🥰
Where are you live.?
Is that the xsr900 headlight bucket that you have on the bike?
