I am going to go monster truck racing and one of the requirements was to have a lock center diff. I got the locker spool from losi and got installed on the truck. Enjoy!!

Just saw this on eBay tonight and thought this might be a good upgrade for the LMT....Heavy duty aluminum steering links with hardware for around $18!
I’ll be sending everyone who asks how to install the spool to this video. There’s a couple reasons for the rule, the main being that if you switch to a lighter diff fluid, the center diff gives a significant advantage in allowing the truck send more power to the front wheels when applying power. Off power, it basically will allow the front and rear to act more independently allowing the truck to rotate more freely in corners with less bind in the driveline. It takes a lot of the skill out of it and takes away some of the monster truck characteristics such as the truck’s front end going up when you nail the throttle. Looking forward to having you out!

I see. That is interesting. I am not super versed in the monster trucks and stuff. Thanks for letting me know. I see the point. People could tune the diff better than others. With it locked makes it the same for everyone, I like that. Also I like the point about taking skill out of it. I am up for the challenge. Thanks for watching.

I have had no problems with it. The race serious I was in required it so that's only reason I put it in there.
