I purchased a Cyclone Rake Commander 1 month ago. The MDA did take me about 45 minutes to install, but I expected this. I wanted a perfect fit and I took my time. The instructions were spot on, no issues except I did need to install an additional wood spacer to get the correct height for my deck. Wish I had got this 10 years ago and saved so much time doing my leaves every year. The Cyclone Rake is overbuilt with heavy duty hardware and a simple design. I've used it 4 times now and love it!

This was the most technical part of the installation. Just follow the directions and it should go together very well. When things did not go as I wanted I called for support. Good Gawd they were prompt and great with instructions. I have not been unhappy for one instance with this purchase. Really wished I had bought it years ago.

I had my local welding/fabrication shop make a steel plate for the bottom of my MDA. I should say my second MDA. I was wearing through the bottom of them in one season. No more issues. Makes me wonder why they don’t have a steel bottom plate from the factory.

Once you have the MDA mounted can you mow the lawn without the CR attached? If not can you provide a second bracket so the OEM grass deflector can be reattached using the two clamp nuts?

Looks like a lot of effort understanding you may be paying over $2,000 for a Cyclone Rake. This might be a dealer breaker for me this fall.
