They are comfy for what they are. Not really a road trip seat but for a day wheeling they offer way more support than a stock seat. And yes the seat belt can be used with these
Would it be best just to call them up to get the proper rails and everything?

Do you know where I would be able to get leather seats for a jeep Cherokee 1996? Or would I have to get them upholstered

No I wouldn’t know where to tell you to look for any stock seats
would the seats work in a 1989? pretty much same interior design as i can tell

The seat brackets changed in 94 I believe. All of the older models have a narrow seat frame that would require building a bracket

I’ll have to try and find my order to be honest because I don’t remember. Also they’ll send material samples on request
Do the PRP seats sit you up higher than the factory seats?

It’s hard to say because my factory seat was really worn out, but I’d say maybe a little higher
How did you do the belt catch?

The catch is attached to the body so nothing has to be changed there
