love it when simple projects turn into a pia. I get it that the way it is put together it makes sense on the assembly line, but a total day ruiner when you begin. My GTI had a special clip that needed a wire hanger to pull it out to release the C-pillar cover which was necessary to drop the headliner

Personally have not seen the upTop in person so hard to say. They seem pretty similar, but based on what I have seen with this Prinsu and others we have done, I'd say I am impressed with the product itself. Would definitely buy again.

Was this the gen 2? Did you have to drill into it bigger?

Yes, we did have to drill the existing holes bigger.

what size are the toyos on the crosstrek? 235/75/15?

That would be correct. It does rub, but was able to do some trimming behind the wheel well liner to clear that up.

When you install the rack, did you add sealant?

@@elginwang1572 I absolutely would because you have to drill the factory holes bigger. The bolt/washer combination will absolutely leak if you do not add sealant.

how did you get that low profile wind deflector?

On mine, the wind deflector comes all the way up to the same level as the side pieces, but I don't see a low profile option as a replacement on their website...sadly @@UltimateTruckOffRoad

There's an option for 40" light bar cut out or standard. This is the light bar cut out option as I added one after this.

It looks like the 40" light bar option on their site now has small 1.5" wide tabs sticking up on either side, which I don't like the look of (maybe nitpicking a little). I think the version you have looks much cleaner. either way, thanks man, appreciate the response ✌@@UltimateTruckOffRoad

Eh, was well worth it for us. Came in very handy down the road when using different sorts of Gear with all different mounts, as well as quickly being able to swap any which one.

Double the price it should be givin what it is
