Get an altinator. If you get a battery it will work but you will always depleat it and it won't last like it should. JS ALTINATORS has excellent altinators 250,320 370,400 amp. From $299 up. Or Mechman altinators. But JS is more affordable! And uses all the same hi end parrs. Trust me .... altinator 1st.👍 I've been there done that🤔

That amp will be plenty the 1200W is the RMS power which is pretty good!

I love Skar audio! Almost got me a 18" Skar ZVX but got Soundqubed insted.

Hey I have the same problem that my stereo shuts off because it’s running too much power from my door speakers and tweeters with no amp I’m also installing a 1 15” sub with 1200 watt amp the same system you have but I know for a fact my stereo will shut off because of the amp. Is there anyway I can fix this?

It won’t shut off if you use rca adapter and wire the amp correctly and may also have to change head unit

I fut 2 hifonics 12 subwoofer in mine and a ctsounds 1500 watts to both and I can't even turn it all the way up before it tear it apart. Hifonics BRW12D4 2000 Watts 12 Inch Brutus you would be very happy.

Only thing I suggest is don't use their wire kit. It's low quality for the same price range of other better ones.
