So the mud guards are for show and not really guarding you from mud...came to see if they were universal,you answered that in someone else's comment..cheers

You have to options to protect from scratches. 1. Electrical tape 2. 3M paint protection film 2"

How effective are they at the rear? It doesn't look like it covers much of the rear tire.

With the direction of tire rotation when moving forward it’s not effective at all unless you’re going backwayrds 😅. Purely cosmetic

The tape is sometimes used where the zip ties will be, to minimize damage done to the paint/frame, in case you overtighten them, etc etc.

Wont the rear fender slide down and rub against the tyre?

The rockshox mtb fender is for front fork only. But We just put in the rear to make it look even.

Save yourself some money and make it from a large plastic soda bottle or plastic folder and you can customize it your way.

The back one is pointless..😅

they look quite cheap and ugly and ineffective, not for me but thanks for sharing how they look installed
